The 16th hole on the Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale is certainly one of the greatest spectacles in tournament golf, perhaps with only the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass in the same league. When the bleachers come down, it's still a fine hole with plenty of drama. It's certainly not a long shot, usually just a short-iron or wedge, but can still cause some nerves.
The Phoenix-Scottsdale area has over 200 courses, and many of them have excellent par 3s that are among the most memorable holes in the valley. We've compiled a sample of some of the best you can play, from Troon North to We-Ko-Pa and many more. Even some of the more affordable courses in town offer drama-filled par 3s. Check out the slideshow above, and tweet us your favorite par 3s in Scottdsale @GolfAdvisor or use #LivingtheGreen on Instagram.
