Pine Knolls Golf Course

We booked through GolfNow and good thing we got a deal. The Mowers were going during backswings, putts, and everything in between on the hole you were playing. They had no regard for the game. Yet through all this mowing, we were losing balls in plain sight down the middle of the fairway because the grass was so long. Will not be returning.

Nice layout. Cart paths only following considerable rain.
Good layout but difficult to determine playability. Need to have a course marshall. Big sign on entrance door: READ THIS: CART PATHS ONLY TODAY. Course was very wet. 3 old guys behind us pretty much stayed on our tails throughout the round. They drove all over the course, as if it were dry. Left some terrible ruts in some places. Weren't about to let them play through if they got close enough. Probably were members who thought they owned the place. I'm sure the course won't look nearly as playable today.

This is a nice course for the money. The greens were recently aerated, but rolled well. It has a good combination of easy holes and a little more difficult holes.

Played Pine Knolls Memorial Day. Pace of play was very nice, the greens were SUPER. Fairways were OK - we moved it around to get some good spots. Staff was very nice. All of our group was pleased.

Walking in early on a cold November morning and really didn't know what to expect here. Heard a few things about the place but wanted to try it out for myself. Staff from start to finish was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Courteous and willing to help, something that has been lost in the Triad area. Don't be fooled my the yardage on the holes, a lot of them play long with uphill shots to the green, doglegs and small creeks that can ruin a drive. The greens were pristine, especially for this time of year. This is one course I can't wait to see in the spring/summer months. Give it a try! We went out with a 3some and had a blast. Layout was great also.

My third time playing Pine Knolls. A fairly open layout so errant shots won't penalize you too badly. Enjoyed the greens!

This is not a Country Club but a great course for intermediate players, greens are in very good shape, The staff is very friendly, A good valve for the money. The only negative thing would have to be is the gas powered carts, they can be distractive but that is only my opinion. Don't let that keep you away. Over all you will enjoy this course.

Course maintained very well. Greens are excellent. Staff is very friendly. Will definitely play here again.

I do not believe that you can find a regulation length golf course at this value. As of 10/12 the greens were in fantastic condition. I would not hesitate to play there again
