Tregaron Golf Course

Course is in decent shape. Most grass is green and grown in except some greens were partially brown and dead. Tough to sink clutch putts. And the rough was incredibly long and punishing. All in all a decent day - shot 77.

Great course, great people. A must play. A good place for the beginner or the pro.

First round here. Played with fellow Travel Nurse while we are here working. Paired us into foursome with a nice couple with course knowledge. They were very helpful in "steering" us around the course. Interesting layout with some challenging holes. A few carries over water both from tee and on approach. Good elevation changes throughout entire course. Front nine a little tighter than back which is more wide open. Overall a great day of golf. Perfect weather as well.

Greens need some work but it is early in the season. I you can always find a good deal during the week. The course is challenging. My new favorite course.

Overall nice public course to play. Some greens still in rough shape. Got a good deal on golf now, but I'd feel like I over payed if I had payed full price for the round. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This is a very suburban course where you're golfing through people's backyards most of the time. The landscape is interesting though, and the course is good for beginning-intermediate golfers.

Course had a lot of winter kill on fairways. Greens were "OK". Disappointed to find that our round (3 of us playing with one - me paying) would have been less $ if I would have just called the course to make a tee time vs. going through GolfNow.com - by a significant sum - would have saved about $23 total for the three of us.

The course seemed to be golfer friendly, the course was in great shape for Dec. 2nd.. Great course outline to keep a player always thinking on every shot and there are many different ways to play each holes for different types of weather conditions..

Very good all around the day was great with friends

The course was in great shape. It was not crowded because we teed off at the start of the husker football game. Definitely plan to return. Got our tee time through a hot deal which would be hard to beat at any course.

Tregaron is a links style golf course. As such it's 10 strokes harder when the rough grows in and the wind blows. Without those two defenses, the course will give up low scores. Staff is well above average. Food/beverage above average as well. There are about six 300 yard walks between holes. So, if you're not an experienced walker, don't try it. Unfortunately their pricing structure 'punishes' walkers. The Golf Now riding price is cheaper than the walking rate at the course. I book through Golf Now and then go walk it.

Course has some nice greens. Rough is sparse. Was a very windy day with gusts up to 40 mph and the course still played very fairly.

Overall the course is nicely kept up. The sand traps need better grooming and repairing. Some appear to be collapsing around the edges. The wild grasses are on many of the holes which make for very challenging strategies to play well on the course.

I enjoyed this course. They layout was challenging with various tees. Well thought out. Too bad it didn't have a driving range.

This course is very well maintained. It has hazards and trouble everywhere, but rewards players for hitting fairways and greens. The greens role true, but are slow. Chipping is fairly easy due to slow green speeds. This is a good course for all levels.

Narrow course. Few blind drives. Fun to play. Reasonable condition and price. 5.5hr round with 4 riding and avg 12 HCP, way too much waiting. Proshop staff tried to charge me full price and complained about online reservations and golfnow in general. After debate and showing my receipt, golfnow price was honored. Make sure you bring your receipt. Reasonable drink prices and friendly snack shop staff.

Course was in good shape considering the lack of rain.. a litle slow, the group in front of us the culprit.
