Ok course, pace aways very slow.
Play this course many times. For being such a short course the ‘golf tee times’ and ‘course time’ management is not their forte. Every time minimum time is 5 hours. If you have the time play it , if not move on.
Real nice course
Staff was friendly and the course was in good shape. Greens looked good. The changes in elevation and layout was exciting and challenging. Can’t wait to go back and play the back nine.
Management.
Greens are awesome! Staff is awesome! Management is poor at best. If you like 9 holes on a Sunday it's good. But good luck playing 18
First timer - impressed!
Use to live off 260th - haven't been back in a while but what a course!!! Easily the hardest/fastest greens I've seen and the PAR3s are challenging. Even more - the course is extremely narrow which may scare the noob, but for those looking to improve its perfect!!!! Staff is great and the food/beer options are what you need. Range looked great as well - will be back!
Need some work
Course has some of best greens but rest of course gets neglected. A lot of wet areas. A lot of mud. Bunkers are a mess. Easy short flat walkable course. They have carts with chargers. Good food in restaurant. Driving range and two putting greens.
Decent early season conditions
Briardale had some pretty solid early season conditions. Other courses I have played around this time of year are typically in much worse condition. There were few people on the course allowing for a quick round, but don’t expect that during peak season.
Keep it on fairways and greens
If you miss the fairways or greens the ball rolls and rolls and rolls .. very hard like west Texas hard pan . Greens are very true and quick, sand is very hit or miss , some bunkers have no depth of sand and others are decent, little consistency. It’s a short track but you better be precise with your putting speed control. Very busy as we were leaving, looked like league golf was starting around 430 pm. There are better options in the area for the price of $25 for 9 holes.
You get what you pay for….
An uninspired layout with parallel holes, watered fairways and greens however the rough was dry and rock hard. The greens rolled remarkably true and had decent pace. The greens fee on GN was inexpensive and the staff was friendly. All in all a mediocre muni course. The golfers there need to practice ready golf instead of standing around in a group watching each other like a scramble. Take two clubs when you walk to your ball. The pace of play was slow with no course attendants.
