Very nice conditions!!
I played here for the first time today, The staff was friendly and professional and the course was in great shape. This course has a very interesting layout and is rather challenging.
The only drawbacks I had from my experience today was the greens and tea boxes being too close together on some holes. Navigating the course can be challenging at times two as there are no signs directing you to the next hole, luckily I paired up with a local and he showed me around.
I will 100% be back to play again, this is one of the mivest courses in the area in my opinion.
Priced right for what course offers
Strange set up with long part 3' but short 4 and 5's. Fairways and greens in fine shape
Fun short course
Open and good balanced course. A few right approach shots and some dog legs for both sides. Good course for beginners and intermediate players.
Potters Park
Had an excellent Saturday morning playing golf at Potters Park. Awesome throw back course with a ton of character.
Really nice course, great value
First time playing this course this year. Everything on the course was in really great condition.
The grounds crews that we encountered were all friendly and conscientious about stopping the mowers and other gear when we were hitting. Great job on the course guys!
The clubhouse is under repair or more likely being renovated. They have nice patio area but I’ve only seen folks use it once last year. I think maybe Covid smashed any grill and lunch business, so that area doesn’t seem used. But should!
It’s a great course for walking 9 or 18. No major hills or long stretches between greens and tee boxes.
Thus is probably one of my two favorite courses to play.
Highly recommend trying it out.
Snails Pace
Course was extremely wet even though it had not rained in over 24 hours. Pace of play extremely slow 3 hours for a nine hole round is unacceptable. Pro shop under renovation check in processed through snack bar. Fairways were luscious green well maintained greens were in good shape.
A course that everyone can enjoy
I began golfing in June and went all in. Playing about 3 times a week at every course I could get a hot deal on. Potters Park had a fantastic Hot Deal offer so I played and the course was perfect for me. It is a shorter course with an up and back layout so for beginners, women, or youth just starting out you don't have to drive 300yds and if you slice it bad you can still play it from the next fairway over! And if you do drive it 309yds. You want to play because it is fun to drive the green to set up an eagle putt. Enjoy
Fun Course
Lots of fun and shot the best score of the year on the back.
