Nice people
Good venue for a pleasant round without much stress.

Valleaire is a mixture of challenge and enjoyment. The course is designed quite well, and is kept in great condition. I bring my friends in from out of town to play here!
Nice course……fall rates??
Played this course at the end of October and have played it many times before. Typically it is in great shape. We paid full summer rates. All of the greens and tee boxes needed attention. Had to clear a spot to hit off on every box and there was a lot of debris that on every green. Need more consideration as to the condition of the course vs rate that is being charged.
Great layout that is ruined by hard pan
This course has one of the best layouts in Northeast Ohio. Something that could be vastly improved by adding about 36 well placed traps. Unfortunately, the course layout is ruined by ground that is so hard it hurts your feet to walk on it. We played after a few days of overnight rain and the fairways were still best described as hard pan. Can't even imagine what they are like after a week of dry weather. While I don't see a need to play it again, I would recommend it to a friend just because of the layout. If they spend some money on aerating the fairways and top seeding them, this course would be in the top 5 in NE Ohio. Short of that it is at best average. They do need to do something about the pace of play as we had a twosome in front that held up a three some and two twosomes behind that including ours. As a wise man once said, just because your not very good a golf is no reason to play slow. Frankly, if you can't play a round in 4-4 1/2 hours, particularly with a cart, you shouldn't be allowed on any course.
Poorly managed — SLOW!!!
Played course today and pace of play was so bad that after 3 1/2 hours we quit on 13th hole. They allowed multiple groups of 5- 6 players per group when the course was fully booked. The manager claimed he was unaware of this situation even when we watched a group of 6 tee off on 1st hole and every group passes by club house and starter between holes 9 and 10. We have enjoyed playing the course in the past but not anymore.
Course drained better than it has in the past. I was expecting very little bounce around the greens, but was able to bounce the ball in to some up front pins. greens recovering nicely from aeration
