Fun on a very, very busy day.
A very big turn out due to the great temperature for November. Slow pace though. Could have had a better time without the constant waiting and delays from the loads of people. Maybe they should not have booked tee times so close together... Too many people.
Course layout is tough for newer golfers like me but well maintained this late in the year.
Great time
Seven person outing and had a great time. The people made us feel welcomed.
Oak knolls kent
Great course. Never easy always a challenge. Always dry sometimes you even get a little extra roll. Greens are always nice for putting. Fairways are in great shape.
Very long yardage and not easy but worth money.

Vanilla Layout but Good Conditions
Played on Labor Day as a single and blew through the course in 3 hours. Most of the holes are fairly straight forward with a few dogleg and blind holes. Hitting the fairway is important, otherwise you will be behind the trees lining the fairways. Conditions are solid, greens are in good shape. My only issue with this course was the lack of extra sets of tees. 609 yards for a par 5 is hard for almost any amateur (especially on the first hole) and that leaves you a bit stuck because the only shorter option would be the forward tees. A 4th set of intermediate tees would be excellent. Otherwise, solid course, would play again
Good bang for your buck!
Condition is always great. Lost a group Golfer voucher due to time limit because they wouldn't let a single on and no group would let me join.. Course layout is great for line drive hitters, ball rollllllls quite a ways
Nice Course But Too Short From Senior Tees
As the headline sez...If you meld in a few of the longer par 4's, you end up with a bit more logical course for the 6000 yard range that us Seniors play comfortably to.
Nice course but Tees Need Fixin
I believe guys getting up in their late 50s and early 60s seek a course that's about 6000 yards. There was no way to get that configuration here. However we did get close. And the condition of the course was very nice for a public. The layout made for a very pleasant experience. Granted a little short.
But if you're going to complain about hitting a shorter T shot and then a wedge into the green, oh well!
Old school golf course
Oak Knolls is an "old school" golf course. Long, challenging, beautiful mature trees lining most fairways, true rolling greens, well maintained, a no frills clubhouse and a friendly staff. I will definitely play there again.
Good course
Oak is one of my favorite courses.
Course has fun/challenging holes and very decent conditions
Greens and Fairways were in very good condition. Pace of play was very slow on the back 9. The staff was awesome. Highly recommend the course.
Great layout and conditions
Played as a single on Father's day, (wife came along for the ride). I was greeted by the starter, extremely pleasant and friendly. He sent me off on time. I came upon a five some who left me play through. Came upon a twosome who invited me to join them. I had a wonderful day golfing. Absolutely loved the course, it was playable, fairways and greens in better than average condition. The greens ran true, picked up some speed later in the day. Wide open course allows for some missed hits. I will be back.
Good course
I tend to play this course when i can find a hot deal due to it starting to become expensive to play 18 (around $40). It is a good course that is fairly straight and long with trees lining fairways so hitting straight is key to gathering distance on this longer course. I typically never am waiting behind anyone as bigger groups almost always tend to let others of one or two people play through. Love this course if you can get a good value
Two large a variance between senior tees and white tees.
My threesome played course for first time on 6-9-16. The course and staff were better than expected. Our only problem was the vast difference between the white and gold tees. The whites at 6486 Yards were too long and the gold at 5290 yards were too shorts. We decided to make a hybrid tee at just under 5900 yards(ala Windmill Lakes.) This was perfect for three seniors. Would suggest course make new set of tees more appropriate for seniors.
Bad location for senior tees
A very nice layout with very nice fairways ,greens and even nice roughs. My only complaint was the senior tees were located where the ladies tees should be. Still, all in all it was a nice track and worth the trip from Youngstown.
Nice little course.
Nice course especially for the 13.50 a person on GolfNow. My buddy said normally they have drink girls driving around which would have been nice it was a hot day out. Not too challenging but not terribly easy either. Grounds were meticulously maintained so overall extremely satisfied with it. I'll be going back.
Good shape!
The day was beautiful and the course was in very good condition. The staff very friendly. It was crowded but not overcrowded, and pace of play was reasonable. I'll be back.
Outstanding Greens
This is the best course to play for this time of year, I enjoy the layout
pace of play
The course was in pretty good condition for march 30th, but the pace of play was realy bad, it took 6 hours to play 18. It took so long i almost left. I have played golf for 30 years and never had to WAITED so long. I will never play there again, and would not recommend unless you like 6 hour rounds.
Only go here if you have 6 hours to burn
Course overall is pretty open straight and easy. Smaller greens than you would expect for such an easy lay out. This place overbooks like crazy. They didn't take into account multiple online teetimes and times that were called in. We had a tee time at 8:30 am in 30 degree weather and it took us almost 6 hours as a twosome. Hacks everywhere. spent half my day waiting on people to get out of the fairway who weren't on our hole. Almost Hit by a couple wayward shots. This is not a course that a low to mid handicapper will enjoy.
