Reserve/Woods at Indian Springs Golf Club

Indian Springs has always been on my "Favorite to Play" list. The course layout has a good balance between challenging and playable at the same time. There are a number of beautiful holes framed through the trees, great elevation changes from tee to green, rolling fairways and doglegs (left and right). Each hole has its own identity and I play them in my head after the round (kudos to the course architect). If you are looking to play a course that asks you to play different clubs in your bag, instead of the typical public track - "Driver/Wedge". Then Indian Springs should be on your play list this season. It is well worth the drive, great bang for the buck!!!

A great out of the way golf course which is in great shape. Some of the sand traps has stones and gravel in them which need to be cleaned out. The over all facility is great, but wish they had a grille for hamburgers or chicken.
The goose are starting to be problem on a couple holes with leaving a lot of droppings which make it different on those holes.
We will be back.

Great course that in not your run of the mill straight/flat course. Great elevation change on a few holes and very challenging 600yd par 5

I've played here a few times and it's always been soaked. Drainage is an issue. It was so wet it couldn't be mowed, even some parts of the fairways. Rough was US Open long, if not longer in spots. I want to give this course a fair shake in the mid summer. I'm sure it was great. Greens were still speedy on the back towards the end of the round and I'm sure lightening fast when it's dry!

Golfers of every level can be appropriately challenged. This course has a 124 slope from the white tees and 134 from the blues. Given the extremely wet weather, the course was in very good shape. With 4 Central Ohio courses closing, many Central Ohio golfers will begin to realize how good this course is.

Greens were just aerated so tough to put...far ways had some trouble spots....but overall had a good time

course was in great condition. greens rolled fast and true. pace of play was slow, however i expected it to be busy as it was an unbelievably gorgeous day.

Course was well maintained.Greens had cross cut aeration but fairly fast. ^600 plus yard par 5 hole was
very challenging but need 3 good shots to reach the green.
Overall experience was very satisfied.

Had heard great things about this course, but was disappointed, The rough is mostly crab grass, bunkers were for the most part not kept. a lot of the fairways were patchy, wet, weedy especially narrow in a few spots .The greens rolled well, they were pretty fast. Tee boxes are weedy.

If this course was closer to me I would play it all the time. It is always in great shape and is really enjoyable to play.

I remember Indian Spring as one of my destination courses back in the early and mid 90s - it had impeccable fairways and some of the fastest and most challenging greens - but the course steadily declined until I stopped going there. Last year I gave it a shot and it was decent - Last week, I met a fiend there for a round and man was I pleasantly surprised. The greens were back to being fast and the fairways were very well kept. This is a fun and challenging course - I highly recommend it.

I kept reading great things on here about how great the course was and how great the greens were and I just don't get it. The layout is above average, but there are a lot of places where the course is in BAD shape and the greens are only fast when you're putting downhill. The greens were bumpy and putting uphill was slow. Got a very good value for $20 for a late afternoon weekend round...would probably come out for that price again but not for the rack rate.

Teed off at 6:30am. Played in just under 3 hours as a twosome.greens were already cut. Greens rolled true and were fast but fair. You are rewarded for good shots and the greens will hold. Will play this course again. It was awesome and staff is extremely friendly.

This is a championship style golf course. Top notch. Better bring your a game. Bent grass fairways . You can't bump the ball to a better lie. Greens are fast and challenging. real nice layout. Friendly staff

I hadn't played this course for many many years. I like the fact there's no houses on the course it's so pretty and quiet.

Played 18 holes in less than 3 hours!!! Course was in remarkable condition. Staff was very friendly. Only area of improvement would be for the grounds crew to not run the mower on the tee box behind you while you are teeing off or while you are putting. Had mowers on a good percentage of the holes all morning and only one pulled off to the side. This is the only thing I see separating Indian Springs from some of the 5 star courses I've played. They do however, do an excellent job of keeping the course in great shape. Greens were in excellent condition!

Played this course many times over the years. Used golf now as a single but signed up with threesome. Manager let threesome tee off 30 min early. Left me as a single behind several groups of 4somes. When complained he said what do you expect as a single on a weekend. Will be a long time before I go back with my foursome.

The course is about halfway between Plain City and Springfield/Urbana. It has a nice mix of holes and was in good condition. The greens were a little tricky in that the front was very slow and the back was much quicker. The only complaint I have is that their yardage markers are only stakes off the fairway. Would be nice to have them in the fairway on sprinkler heads as most courses do today. Overall, fun course and will go back.

This is a nice course, well maintained with extremely fast greens and a nice rolling layout. My only complaint was a couple of questionable pin placements (you can't put a pin on a false front). Great value for the cost.
