About
The West Course is the 18-hole course at Prairie Trace Golf Club, which also offers the nine-hole East Course. Both are military courses connected to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, which means they are only open to military and civilian personnel and their guests. The West Course is a challenging but playable layout that boasts excellent conditions on the greens and fairways. The golf course is relatively straightforward but watch out for the mature trees that are strategically positioned throughout. Accurate tee shots are also needed to avoid the tall, thick rough. Beginners might want to start with the nine-hole East Course since it has the same challenges but on a smaller scale. In addition to the courses, Prairie Trace also boasts a driving range and three practice putting greens.

Nice 9holes
Good for a quick 9 especially for a novice golfer. No water, decent amount of sand, good tree layout and pretty straight.
