Country Club of Arkansas
The course was wet due to all the rains we have had, so it was cart path only with the cart. However, the course seemed to be in good shape. The staff was really friendly and I wondered if the course had gone under new management. The carts have GPS which is a huge assist if you do not know the course. I did not know they had a scramble going on and caught them on the 11th hole. The four man teams were pretty nice and allowed me to play through which I thought was really outstanding. The greens were a little rough and slow, but I contributed this to them recently being aeriated. Al in all I enjoyed my round and would return to play another round there.
Wonderful course
Fair and challenging. Intermediate golfers will thrive on this course!
Fun Trek
CC of Arkansas is a fun course with many interesting holes. Not overly challenging for mid-handicappers. If in the area, it’s a must play.
Not the best
I was expecting a decent course at least for it saying that it is one of the premier courses in Central Arkansas but was highly disappointed. The bunkers were a mess even after the workers raked them in the morning for their were big divots when they turned with a sand pro, the greens were the smallest I’ve ever played for a full length course, the tees and other areas were very overgrown, there were hydraulic fluid leak lines all over the course from the mowers.
Nice greens - nice layout
When this course isn’t wet it’s a wonderful track. Probably the best greens for a public course in the area! Not over-crowded
Vacation Golf
I was able to find a hot deal of the day through Golf Now. Course was pretty open at 10am on Tuesday (100 degrees out). Greens were in very good conditions and Fairways were green despite the summer heat and lack of rain.
