Good little course.
A nice little course with mostly straight holes and lots of wide open space. No concession area. Not too expensive and good for a casual play.
Too simple, terrible conditions
Every hole was the exact same other than the distance, it got so boring after like the 5th hole.
Not worth it.
Pretty rough conditions, staff was rude like they didn’t want to be there. Pace of play was okay. No food or drinks offered and range was in really bad shape. Would not recommend going again.
It is What It Is
Good option for duffers like myself. Inexpensive and uncrowded. Greens are rough. Lots of places to lose your ball so bring extras!
Lower your expectations
Staff was friendly, course is in bad shape, other players have no golf ediqute.
Challenging
I definitely enjoyed the challenge of mainly the tee shots on this course. They required either an accurate or long carry drive. One would need to play smart due to blind over the hill tree lined fairways. Also water hazards crossing the fairways would challenge a golfer to lay up or try and carry the hazard. Great golf course if looking for something different! Don’t expect a country club. Carts, greens, club house is a little rough but definitely worth playing. I will definitely return for another round!
Wrong Sided Golfer
Greens have not been aeriated. Some have bald spots and in need of repair. Fairways were dry and hard with some very wet/moist low spots. Pace of play was good (3) hr. round. Lots of uphill blind shots. Course needs to be played at least one time to get familiar with the layout.
Too many singles
We had far too many singles running through us and complaints about pace of play. Golf wasn’t meant to be played in 2 hours! We won’t be back conditions were also poor.
Fun course to play
This a good course for a bogy plus golfer to work on their game
Dont waste your time or money
Choctaw creek golf course is over priced and horrible. Everything is horrible. From the friendliness of the staff to the club house, the carts, the condition of the course, and anything else you can think of. The city should shut it dow and turn it into a housing developement. The owners spend no money on the course. The course is in poor condition. It is horrible. I cant wait till John Conrad in Midwest City reopens this month.
Fairways need cut
Fairways had grass an inch long on some holes.
Greens were in pretty good shape.
Very, very bad?
This course is in my top 2 WORST courses that I've ever played. I can't believe I paid $54 to play it (twosome).
The carts were so slow that I could have walled faster backward. Just pitiful.
The tee boxes were bare. There was barely any grass on them.
I hit a ball down the left of the fairway on #5 and realized as I was walking up to it that there were a few balls from the driving range on the fairway. Very annoying...
Then, I went to #6 and realized there roughly 1,000 balls from the driving range on that fairway. Seems the course couldn't be bothered to put up a freakin' net to keep the range balls off the course.
I quit after 6 holes because I didn't feel like enduring the torture any longer. Then, on the way out, the net on the OTHER side of the range was blowing half way across the road so as to try to catch people leaving.
I'll never play this "course" again. No self-respecting player should. Make the drive to the next nearest course and enjoy your round instead.
