Horrible
Terrible conditions. Greens are a mess. Pro shop is unorganized with visible mice. Unprofessional owners. This place changed names a few years ago but it’s the same owners. Don’t waste your money. Do your own research on this place. I wouldn’t send my kids to this golf camp either. Do background checks before you even think of leaving your kids there. Place is closing in November it’s it’s obvious why.
Total deterioration at this course
Do not waste your time or money here. This place has gone so downhill it’s sad. It’s no wonder they are closing in November. The family running it is so unprofessional. Saw a huge mouse last time I was there’s in the pro shop. The head pro was laughing about it. This guy literally naps on the job in front of customers. The greens are a disaster. Go to LuLu instead!
Alright course, wouldn't recommend
Fairways were longer than they should be, yardages were off, and greens were extremely slow. I wouldn't recommend this course for any serious player. However it is a fun course for kids to go out, goof off and play a decent round of golf. Pro shop attendant was nice, but course the poor nature of the course outweighed this pro.
Worst course in North America!!!
This is the worst course I have ever played on. As an experienced golfer, I have never had this bad of an experience. The staff were nice but he was uninformed. There was a huge dirt patch on the green of the 15th hole. It looks like somebody drifted there golf cart across it. I also found a flipped over golf cart on hole 16. The course never seemed to be maintained because the grass was ridiculously high. This is by far the worse course I have ever played and I do not recommend it to you!!!!
Has not gotten better
Played this course a lot in past but not for a while. It has not improved. Many tee boxes have no grass - just astroturf. Some tee boxes don't even look like tee boxes. Fairways need lots of help. Place did not open until 7 and we teed off about 7:10. Sprinkler was still on 1st green which was standing in water as were many others. Had high hopes when Upper Dublin took this over but very disappointed.
I wouldn't play here for free
Worst course I have ever played. The yardages are 100% incorrect (verified by two different GPS programs). 2/3 of the blue tees are AstroTurf. Greens have more pitch marks than grass. Maybe only 3-4 legitimate golf holes on the course. Two holes next to a cemetery. No water on the course (90 degrees outside) and no ball washers. At least there was a nice breeze.
Well groomed
We had a great round here. The greens are well kept and very challenging. The staff was very helpful and courteous with tips because it was our first time here. We can't wait to come back and play. Tim Yeager
Needs an overhaul
This course has potential and that's the best I can say. Nothing about the course os maintained. It's a Herculean effort to put you tee in the hard ground at the tee box (lack of water). The fairways have so much burnt and dead grasses that's hard to find you ball when it's in the fairway. The greens have crab grass and many hole green are filled with goose turds.
All the ball washers on the course have been removed.
I used to love this course because the other players were friendly and always a great pace of play. However, it's now in a bad state that makes your round no fun.
Too Bad
The staff is extremely friendly. I had a weekend tee time of 10am but they let me tee off early because it was open. Guy at the desk was extremely friendly and warm.
You can tell this place is bleeding money a bit since it looks like it was sold very recently (I think it was called Twining Valley up until last year) It's too bad that the course conditions were so terrible. Tee boxes left without grass, fairways also. I didn't even finish 18. I left after 11 because it comes back to the clubhouse (full disclosure: part of this was also because my boss called me with some time sensitive material I needed to find a Starbucks and do some work remotely from. I still left despite her saying that I could wait until my round wasn't over. Decided it wasn't worth it).
There was one hole that I didn't finish of the 11 I did play because there was not only a plethora of geese, but also a huge swarm of yellow jackets that also made me believe there was a nest nearby. No thanks.
It's too bad. Perhaps other people won't have such bad luck and their conditions will recover because I think they do know, at least, friendly service. They also have a fitness center, locker room and everything that would seem to make membership worthwhile if it just got some TLC.
played 18 surprisingly good condition
This course was in terrible shape a few weeks ago. I went out today only by default. The course has had some significant TLC.
If you wrote off Twining Valley , come check it out. The course was empty I played at my own pace and the fairways were clean and the greens maintained.
Below Average Course
This is the first time i played this course, conditions are below average...
Teeboxes are either like playing from rough or they have replaced with some kind of artificial turf, you will have a tough time to put your tees.
Some of the greens were too dirty with bird droppings all over the green, it seemed like no one really bothers to maintain this course..
Even if i get a good deal, not worth a ride to play in this course..
Some holes were interesting but had completely lost interest after playing couple of holes..
Dogs can't even run this track!
OMG. So I went to this pile of stink because they were listed in the Victory Golf pass. My day started by being asked to walk because they ran out of carts by 7:30AM. The 200 marker on the practice range was obscured by a tangle of bushes let alone finding ground to hit from. I particularly frowned on hitting from a astroturf tee boxes and cart paths. Honest to gosh ~ there were more weeds than grass everywhere! The greens held only because they were fairways rather than mowed greens. If you like cattails in the fairways, this place is for you. Please do not visit without your allergy medication and bug spray. I can't be any more clear than this. I have already notified Victory about verification of keeping this listing. What a joke. Wasted my time except for the sarcastic jokes that emminated from our round.
Twining Valley is cheap but you get what you pay for...
They do NOT maintain the course what so ever. You lose your balls on the fairways because there are leaves everywhere. They don't even blow the leaves off the greens - absolutely terrible. The holes are okay with a couple hills here and there and some other obstacles that make it interesting but I would recommend NOT going to this course.
Disappointing is the only word I can think of.
There is a ball washer
