Course great shape/ pace of play bad
Course in great shape. Only real complaint was the pace of play and no ranger to be found to get things moving. At one point in my round there was two groups on the tee, one in the fairway , and one on the green on a par 4? Weather was not an issue. So not sure what happened. For most of my round I had ten minutes between shots after getting to my ball.
What a gem!
I didn't realize it but this course actually has three 9 hole courses. You can play two of them in any order to fill out your round. I played the Earth course and then the South. Both were much different than the other, with the West being longer and a bit more open and the South shorter and tighter. What a beautiful atmosphere and fun day! The staff was great and the new Highlands restaurant was modern and inviting. It was worth the drive. I'll definitely be back!
Nice upgrades
The course was in very nice condition. I haven't played there for almost a year and the new clubhouse is finished. I hardly recognized the place, new parking, starter house, clubhouse with restaurant and bar. I will definitely be going there more often.
Meh
Should have spent the money elsewhere around the course. Greens were in horrible condition. Slowest pace of play I have experienced and it was a Monday
Top notch course
Course conditions were excellent and challenging for any player. The staff was pleasant and the facility is definitely a 5 star now.
Nice clubhouse. Eh. Course
I’ll never understand a golf course that spends over a million on a new clubhouse yet still has dirt tee boxes and literal holes in the middle of some fairways. I’ve had shovels in the fairways before as well. The design of the course is good. Just not in great shape. Don’t pay more than $35 to play here.
Hard ground for fairway
Must be no irrigation, fairways were hard as tarmac and very weedy
