Should have rangers driving around to keep up pace of play … got stuck behind a foursome that sllloooowwww Down pace of play … stated to Deion the fun of going out … they were so slow … the group ahead of them finished and for 3 holes no one was in front of them … behind so could just see people sitting and waiting to tee offf and hit second shots
Great layout - conditions great despite HEAT
Jeffersonville is a gem. Amazing Donald Ross layout. The weather has been stifling hot, but the crew has kept the fairways and greens beautifully maintained. Greens are tough and challenging, but fair (except for #18) LOL
I play here when ever I can !
What a GEM!
If I live in the King of Prussia, PA area I would play discourse every chance I get and would not be sick of it. But since it is my first time playing the course compared to the other two that I played in Northern Virginia and in Pennsylvania the last three days this is by far the best course by a wide margin. If I come back to this area I will definitely played Jeffersonville golf district course AGAIN!
Nice course for the money
First time playing Jeffersonville on 7/5/22. Played with one friend. Hoped to play by ourselves but got paired up with another duo. No big deal. Course was nice and in good condition. All but one tee box was in great shape. Carts were old gas-powered variety but got the job done. Course was crowded but no issues with pace of play. Lots of retirees. Renovations being done on clubhouse so no food or drink was available. All in all a good experience, especially for the money. I was coming from Center City, Philly. Took about an hour with traffic.
Rude Customer Service
I’ve been playing Jeffersonville for 25 years since I was a kid. I am extremely disappointed with their customer service. Woman in the pro shop gave me a key to a cart as a single and I drove to the first tee. When a 2nd single arrived in his own cart and we were told by the starter that we had to ride in the same cart.
We didn’t know each other and I believe they should allow single riders as long as Covid is an issue. It’s Sat afternoon after 1pm and I’m still paying $60. I asked for a refund.
Many impatient players with 10 minute tee times. If they are bringing in $2,400 an hour why not let 2 singles ride alone if it’s after peak?
With the impatient play last summer I had 3 outings where the group behind us hit into us. I’m a scratch golfer and have no problems playing fast. If I can’t go anywhere and the group behind us is hitting into us that shows no class!
Classless crowd of players and employees for such a great course. Shameful treatment of customers.
Walked off after two holes
We had 2nd tee time of the morning. Normally a 3hour to 3.5 hour round. For some reason the grounds crew held up the first group. Took half an hour to play 2 holes so we tried to ship 2 holes to get in front and start moving. Grounds crew YELLED AT US. Said we aren’t allowed to skip and treated us like dirt for trying. We asked what was wrong since it didn’t bother him or his crew. He couldn’t answer other than saying it wasn’t allowed. We asked to just play the back 9 since no one was on it. We were told that they don’t allow that, even though the prior week they had everyone teeing off the back. Illogical, unprofessional and flat out RUDE EMPLOYEES!!!
Classic Layout in Good Shape
Great Donald Ross layout was in good Shape
Very challenging par threes from the Green tees
Always a fun round
Best Muni in the Philadelphia Area
Amazing design, layout, conditions were superb. I have played a lot of golf, but this is my favorite public course in the area and it is not close. Reasonable rates for a private club experience on the course.. Kudos to the great work the staff is doing here.
Jeffersonville
Arrived at the course on time only to find out there was an outing. Waited about 45 minutes to tee off. Course was in good condition except for a couple tee boxes. As other reviews have stated no pictures on the scorecard so relied on playing partners to show me where some of the fairways and greens were. Tough greens as also pointed out in prior reviews. You really need to be below the pin on most greens. They do not use the Red, white and blue pins so no idea where the hole locations are. All in all had a good time and will definitely come back.
Challenging course in great shape
Pristine conditions.
First time playing the course this year.... played it once a year ago,
Sand traps are difficult, if you’re close to the lip, big trouble.
One complaint.
Either have diagrams of the hole on the tee box or on the scorecard.
On a number of holes the location of the green is guesswork, for a player not familiar with course.
And, there are many blind shots from the fairway.
Fun evening
Course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly. Only drawback is #18 green. Rather silly for a public course. A little extra annoying when everyone is moving along the entire round and the major back up starts on #17 because of #18 green. Otherwise, a fun time and great value.
