Not a terrible course.
I will start off by saying, we played in march so pretty pre-season, so the course was as you would expect for that time of year. The staff was extremely friendly, and the golf was good on a beautiful day to be out with friends. The pace of play was not managers at all, and it’s a 9 hole course, so if you are playing 18 you just go through twice. I’ll definitely give it another shot mid summer and see how it improves in the throes of the actual golf season.
53 degrees out with a golf now rate in February
The 1st tee box was still so frozen the tee with a ton of force could barely be inserted. Course gets an amazing review because it was open. No range, smaller course, and small pro shop are the downsides. Friendly everybody, for us a quick pace of play, and nice layout was the upside. I’d def go back. It’s also only a 9hole course. It was the warmest day of the month for RI so we snuck out and played.
good design fairways and rough inconsistne
Played this Couse for first time after reading good reviews. Walked the course on a weekday and greens are very good. The rest of the course including fairways are not in good condition
Great Cornish layout that would need a lot of work and money to get in better shape.
Big improvements
With all the rain the fairways are in terrific shape and the hole positions on the greens were very challenging.
Bang for your buck
With the new ownership of King's Crossing, this course is seeing new life. The new owners have continued to take pride in this course and are putting money into great renovations. This year they offered a 3 year membership for $177 dollars and with that I go at least once a week. It's a great place to get practice rounds in. Staff is very friendly and kitchen is pretty good. Zero complaints and look forward to the upcoming improvements.
