Slow players and ball hunters slow the pace
This was only my 2nd time playing here. I enjoyed the round, but wish they had a ranger to monitor the pace of some players.
Drop this course from Golf Now
Got there for our 2:05 tee time and immediately had our heads bitten off by the old codger at the desk for booking on Golf Now. There were 6 carts lined up ahead of us and he’s yelling at us about how Golf Now is supposed to know that they don’t take take tee times after 2. Sorry, not my fault. Then we go to the concessions counter to be greeted by someone who won’t get out of her chair until she absolutely has to while complaining to us that there is only one flavor of Gatorade and the pre-made sandwiches are all they have. Looks like these people know the highway is coming through and about to shut them down and they couldn’t care less. Take them off of Golf Now please!!
Great value
I had the opportunity to play Pine Lakes on Saturday and was paired on a hot deal with two other players. The course was in great shape from tee box to greens. I have played all municipal courses this year and this was a great value for golfers of all skill.
I would highly recommend everyone to take advantage of this course due to value and course conditions.
Pine Lake
Had a good time.
Course is in good shape. Some water and bunkers. Only bad thing is that there are some blind spots.
Playing hooky
Course was in good shape. Greens were quick and true. Wonderful day
Actually showed up and the club had not been notified. Said they would honor but I would have to get in line. About 10 groups ahead. Just left!
Pleasantly Surprised
I hadn’t played Pine Lakes in over a decade. Got a great price on GN and despite the reviews decided to give it another try. I’m a high handicapper so my expectations may not be as high as yours, but I enjoyed the course. As far as munis go, I’d rather go back here than play Centennial or Knox Muni. Fewer blind shots, more forgiving fairways and not overly crowded. If you’re a duffer, give it a shot. You’ll probably enjoy it.
A pleasure to play
Good staff, seem to appreciate your business. Intermediate players should really enjoy...very player friendly layout
Like the layout
Enjoyable course, good for infrequent or intermediate players....
Good course when you get a discounted price
Pine Lakes is you average municipal type course. Nothing great about it but a good playable course. Their average price is what I would consider high for this type of course so I only ply when I can get a good price through GolfNow. Used my BOGO coupon for this round so it was excellent.
I would tell friends to go play if they can get a discount.
