Raccoon Valley Golf Course
About
Raccoon Valley Golf Course (formerly known as Raccoon International Golf Club) sprawls across gently rolling woodlands, featuring scenic vistas of the surrounding countryside. The course is known for being home to the longest par 5 in the state, the notorious 17th hole. This treacherous hole measures in at a devilish 666 yards that will challenge even the longest hitters. Although the terrain is mostly flat and open, there are some surprisingly dramatic undulations in the greens that will cause tricky uneven lies. There are several lakes that come into play throughout as well as a number of strategically placed bunkers. In addition to the penultimate hole, notable holes at Raccoon Valley include the par-4 eighth, which requires a 220-yard carry, and the 11th, a par 3 that plays over a lake to a two-tiered green guarded by a bunker.

International Says it All
It was a good course to show up on a Sunday afternoon and get 18 holes in quickly.
Greens need work but fun course
This is a nice course for the high handicap golfer. Wide fairways make it forgiving. The greens show damaged areas, brown and no grass. Nevertheless, it's a fun course to spend an afternoon playing golf.
Rough shape
The course is in rough shape, greens that are browned and fairways unkept. The course if for sale so it's just doing enough to get by
Old raccoon
This course is for sale probably explains the neglect of over grown ares and trees not trimmed the course is a great test starting with the greens that are humped to help on drainage but are really difficult to get close also some were wet ball sticks some were hard ball rolls or bounce a off there trying with a low budget sure It’s a little rough. If you play check out the memorial to a General from the cubical war his child hood home is on the front part of the property nearest 161
Greens not great
Raccoons greens are very tough and was not impressed with the condition of the course.
Quick Greens, Not Much Else
Raccoon is a relatively open course, with not too many challenges. The greens are well-kept, and they roll very well. However, the rest of the course is not really great. Not a huge difference between fairways and rough, but that makes it friendly for beginners. Hole 17 is home to the longest hole in Ohio, which is a cool one to play at 666 yards from the tips. Almost no cart path anywhere, so you can drive your cart everywhere essentially. Take that for what it’s worth. Would play again for a similar price (~$18 for 18 holes + cart).
Raccoon International
Very nice layout with some interesting holes. The greens were in pretty good shape and the fairways were okay. The place could use a little upkeep but overall it was just fine and provided a nice day of golf. The staff was very friendly. I hope it lasts, the land is for sale.
Raccoon Int. GC
First time playing this course. Me and my buddy had a 9:15 tee time so we showed up at 8:15 so we could get ready and hit range before our start. Walked up to the side window where it said to check in and the guy who was at the window was sort of awkward. I asked if we could hit range and he muttered something Under his breath and shook his head so I took that as a “no”. This made showing up early a waste of time. But honestly, the course was one of the best I’ve played in Licking County. Great layout with a fair amount of obstructions. Was really impressed with how dry it was being early spring, only soggy spots were in the really low areas. Greens were fast and fairways were kept well.
Vivid golf
Love the layout. Challenging and fair course. Will play it often.
Fun Course
Excellent service, fun course that seems to always be in good shape.
