Good value = You get what you pay for
Great pace of play on the day. Tee boxes and fairways were in good condition, i.e., you couldn’t blame them for how your round went ;-). Greens rolled true but were on the slower side. Fix your ball marks people, sheesh.
Thank you for your feedback. We take pride in providing a great experience and are happy to hear that we have met expectations.
Thank you so much for your review. We value your feedback, and hope to see you back soon.
No pace of play and rude staff
Do not play this course if all of the tee times are booked. There is no pace of play. I had the course Marshall playing behind me screaming “Hit the F’ing ball” when I got people infront of me. Very unprofessional staff and disrespectful. If you got 6 hours in your day and time to listen to that go for it but I would not recommend this course.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we are very sorry about your experience. After reviewing this situation with the group behind you, we found that it was not a Marshall that became frustrated and upset. Also, thank you for taking our call yesterday. We are happy that we were able to turn this negative into a positive. Hope to see you again soon.
Thank you for taking the time to review the course. We noticed that you rated the course conditions as poor but did not leave feedback. Could you please provide details as to what did not meet your expectations? The park manager can be reached at 703-327-3403 ext 101.

Brambleton No pace of play rule on this course
Brambleton Golf Course does not enforce or have a pace of play rule at all.
Sister courses (Pohick Bay, Algonkian) at NovaParks has pace rule stated on the score card and rule enforced “Each group must maintain the pace of group ahead of them, and will be monitored by course Marshals( Pohick Bay).
At Brambleton, one particular Friday when a group of players were two-three holes behind the group ahead of them, one marshal who was called on, simply did not make any effort to speed the play. This was true even when the course was backed up all the way from 8th hole to the first tee box with the slow players not meeting their target time (must be for guidance only). Instead the marshal stated that the players are meeting the target pace, which was not true, the course was backed up all the way from the slow players to the first tee (friends called from 8 holes back).
Brambleton course, Nova parks, should adopt examples set by Pohick Bay, and Algonkian golf course, and establish a pace of play policy state it on the score card as well advise the marshal volunteers to stay relevant and enforce the rules.
We are sorry to hear about your experience. Pace of play is very important to our golfer's experience and important to the staff as well. Our target pace of play is posted on the score card below the scoring line. We encourage golfers to keep up with the group in front of them and play ready golf so that if pace is faster than target pace, we can continue with that pace. When responding to pace of play concerns, our player assistants first determine the actual pace of the group in question. If they are on target pace, but have a gap in front of them, we encourage them to keep pace with the group in front. We do not have a rule that forces groups to allow faster players to play through as this is more of golf etiquette. This is something that we can recommend to the group in question if they are feeling pressured but ultimately, it is their decision to make. We will speak to our staff on duty that day to determine if there was more that we could have done to increase the pace of play. Please fee free to reach out to our course manager at 703-327-3403 ext 101 if you have any further questions or concerns.
In good shape
The greens were aerated early, so they are almost back to perfect. I played the course twice last week. Both times my group tracked a little slower that I normally play. Not sure why, both times it took a little over 4 hrs. No one was in a rush behind us, nor did the Marshall give anyone a hard time. Great little course at a reasonable price.

Great course!
I have nothing to complain about this course. Well maintained, easy layout, beautiful views, and friendly staffs, oh on top of that, great deals if you can afford to play during weekdays. This course is one of my favorites.
