Great course
Rained the whole time. Staff was great. Had a foursome ahead of us (a twosome) who wouldn’t let us through. They had no one in front of them.
Still finished in 4 hours.
Course was in good shape. Greens need some more work. It’s out of the way from Virginia Beach, but definitely a course I will be back too.
Great corse for the money
We had a great experience. Staff was super friendly. It was a fun track, corse was in fair shape.
Best closing hole in Hampton Roads
The course was in fantastic shape. All the bunkers have been filed with new sand. The greens are perfect. Nice carts. Good grille and staff. Really good experience there.
Another tournament!!!!!!
Booked a tee time for Friday June 17th. Arrived to find tents, signs and a group going off for a tournament. The not sop friendly gentleman in the Pro Shop said "It won't cause an issue." It took us the same amount of time to play the last 5 holes as it did to play the front 9! That is way too slow!!!! I guess we have to call ahead top see if they have a tournament going on the same time as we want to play??? WHY???
My Review
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The weather today was perfect. Sunshine with a slight breeze to start that picked up some as the round went on. TI thought the course was in great shape. This course has one of the best finishing holes around. Now for the negative. The pace of play was horrendous. It took 2 hours to get through 5 holes. Now we all understood it was going to be slow going with such great weather. However, never in our wildest dream did we think it would take 5 1/2 hours to play 18. Hopefully the next time we play this course things will be better. I would like to think this was just a one off.

This is one of the first golf courses I played when I started playing golf. Love the 18th hole

Still a good course
Always a good value. The course is well maintained. Friendly staff.
in pretty good shape for this time of year
Some of the Bunkers are still in the process of being re done, but the ones that are done are very nice.
Greens were rolling good and fairways are starting to come in. Always a good layout!
Great course
As always Sleepy Hole provides a beautiful, challenging but fun course. The weather was gorgeous and we had such a great to time.
