Eagles Pride Golf Course - Green/Red
About
Eagles Pride Golf Course has long been known as one of the best military courses in the country and luckily for golfers, it's open to the public. Originally opened in 1940, the course started as the 18-hole Fort Lewis Golf Course. Another nine was added in 1979 but it wasn’t until the mid-1990s that it became Eagles Pride. The three nines are called the Green, Red, and Blue, and they are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Green/Red Course starts with the newest and most challenging of the three nines. The course will test you with plenty of trees, water hazards, undulating slopes, and even the occasional blind shot. There are some tough holes but players of all skill levels could enjoy any of the nines.
Previously known as Green/Red at Fort Lewis Golf Course.

Great shape
Pure and firm greens as per usual for this course..friendly and very accommodating staff ...
Great Dayn of Golf
Last played three years ago. Course is in excellent condition. Sand is compact but playable. Greens are well kept and putt true. Lots of course improvements. I didn't see any water stations, so bring plenty of bottled water.
Championship Course
The course is in excellent condition. It plays long, I felt like I was playing a mostly par 5 course. I will definitely play again.
Great day for golf
I booked a 9:26 tee time with a friend. It was going to be hot that day so we were thankful for the cart that came with the deal. Course is long but it played great with decent roll. Rough was in decent condition not overgrown.
Definitely play again
Normal day
4th of July round always fun here not the best course pace was kinda slow but it was great fun! Marshall and staff were great!
Course is nice but..
The course itself is in beautiful condition. The pace of play is slow and that was the only negative. Those greens are tough, big and undulating but a fun challenge.
27 hiles, we played the red and blue course. Rolling hills, hilly in some area, lots of trees. Enjoyed the course and course layout.
Great Course
Somewhat challenging course with all the slopes and valleys. Still a bit newer to golf but this course was a bit unique with how drastic some of the sloped fairways were. Visually very appealing but was in my head a bit when I was on the tee box. Overall loved the course though. But pace of play was crazy slow. As in some 5.5 hours for 18 holes. With numerous times standing and waiting for 15 minutes just to take next shot with no Marshall or advocate trying to correct the issue.
