Highlands Golf Course
About
Highlands Golf Course in Tacoma, Wash. is a nine-hole course that can be played in just over an hour. All of the holes are par 3 except for one par 4. It's not your typical nine-hole course, the layout is like a full-size course shrunken down to a par 3 with several challenging elements that will test your short-game skills. The terrain is relatively flat, making it an easy golf course to walk, and it is relatively protected from the winds. The sand traps are sparse but strategically placed, and water hazards come into play occasionally as well. Highlands Golf Course is an ideal layout for beginners to get some short-game practice, but for more advanced players it's an excellent option for a quick round that is more challenging than your average nine-hole layout.

Fantastic par 3 course
Absolutely outstanding for a par 3 course. Renovations turned out excellent. Staff is always super friendly. Course is fun, and everyone playing there tend to be super relaxed. It's honestly my favorite course in the area. I only wish it were a better value. If they had twilight rates, or other deals, I'd be there practically every day.
great course
This is a great course and my friends and I always enjoy playing it.
Highlands Golf Club
Challenging Par 3 course, with good variety of holes. Recently they have added new water features, enhancing the course aesthetics.
It was an enjoyable round.
Excellent rebuild/refurb
very fun short course. they put a TON of money into it last year, and its in awesome shape!
Great par 3 course
This course was in excellent condition for being an older course. Well maintained and updated, it play at a great pace and I would rate it as a good course for novice player, as well as a nice budget course to practice short game. Staff where very friendly and helpful.
Needs work
Course still needs some work. Also I hate hitting off mats
nice upgrades!
I haven't played Highlands for a while. New ownership put some bucks into the third and fifth (water) holes. Very very nice work. Look forward to playing it again.
Greens Rock
Loving the upgrades! Still hitting off mats out there but they're nice mats. Greens are pretty good too!
Course in fantastic condition
Had a great round this morning. Greens are in fantastic condition. Thank you again A.J.
Ehh
The houses around the course don’t even have fences and their backyards are only about 10 yards long. The pace of play is atrocious. I was a single stuck behind a two groups of 5. Another single was behind me. Overall pretty bad management.
New Hotness
the upgrade/ rebuild ladt summer has turned out GREAT

Amazing little par 3 course, some holes feel narrow but an overall amazing course for the price and distance
