There are two golf courses at the Edgewood facility in Big Bend, the Pines and the Oaks. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome at Edgewood. More experienced players can take on the formidable Oaks Course, which plays across rolling forested hills, while beginning and intermediate players might be more comfortable on the more player-friendly Pines Course. The forgiving Pines layout is flatter and more walker-friendly, but that is not to say it is a simple pitch-and-putt golf course. Plenty of sand bunkers come into play and there are large lakes that come into play on a few holes. At 6,500 yards, it is shorter than the other course by about 300 yards, offering a quicker pace of play. In addition to the two golf courses, Edgewood also has a driving range and short game facility with two putting greens, a chipping green, and a practice bunker.

A fine course for golfers of moderate means and ability.

I have played this course many times over the last 30 years. I prefer the more challenging newer 18 holes , the Oaks Course over the older Pines Course, but enjoy both. Great value for weekend rates.

Course was in excellent shape

I thought the course, for this time of year was very good. A few fairways were a bit bumpy and bear in spots, but I didn't come across much of that. A lie in the fairway, as well as the first cut of rough was excellent and the greens are some of the most challenging around, but were a little slower then usual, but that again was because of the time of year. Excellent layout...I'd play here anytime if the price is right and for that I thank Golf Now.

Mature course with a variety of hole layouts

This course has something for everyone - it is challenging from the blue back tees and friendly to the average player from the regular white tees.

The back nine has two holes that are still recovering from the flooding of 2011; they are in moderate shape now but should be mostly recovered in 2013.

There is an excellent driving range and three large putting greens to aid in warm up before the round.

Marshalling is done on the weekends to keep play moving.

After golf there is a nice facility with friendly staff so that you can enjoy food and/or a beverage to talk over the round.

Good value at the discounted rate.

Pines course is a good test from any tee set. Course was in good condition but played a little slow the day I was there (4.5 hrs). Good value if you have a discounted rate. Slightly pricey at normal rates.
