Royal Scot Golf Club
About
Royal Scot Golf Club sits just 10 minutes outside of Green Bay and boasts some of the best greens in the area. Originally established as a private course in 1971, the course is now open to the public. The 18-hole course has a traditional links design that sprawls across a softly rolling landscape dotted with mature trees. The layout measures to just over 6,800 yards, providing some holes that will be sure to please long hitters. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and bunkers and trees also present hazards on several holes. Royal Scot Golf Club offers enough challenges for the low handicapper to enjoy a casual round while being gentle enough for beginners as well. The golf course finishes with a tricky par 4, a dogleg right that plays entirely uphill.

Reviews
Great day
Beautiful weather, nice course, good condition getting a little brown in spots with the lack of rain
Great greens, rolled very well, not too fast and held well
Greg the pro is great, just a nice place to play
Peaceful Course
Course was in pretty average condition: bunkers very hard and dry but overall course conditions did not affect play, probably more aesthetic negatives than anything. Course sits out in the country and was very relaxing. Was playing in a group of 3 behind 2 walkers and a group of 4 ahead of them, however never was slowed or hindered in pace from other golfers. We arrived early and were encouraged to hit the course as soon as we wanted. Carts were nice and ran smoothly, received 3 visits from the mobile beverage cart during our 18 holes. Felt price may have been a little on the highside but overall had a really good time.
Beautiful challenging
Very well kept course, its neat how its surrounded by houses. The houses are not to close where you have to worry about windows or anything. But this place also has very friendly staff that makes you feel very welcome. I will definitely go back and play again. Even that it's an hour drive from home.
Great value in Titletown
Excellent value course. Course was in good condition with very nice large greens. Layout is uninspiring but you do need to keep it in the fairway.
Beautiful Course
The weather was perfect and the fairways lush. We had a great time. The course was just difficult enough for my wife and I, who are not used to such excellent conditions.
Nice Place
This was a really fun course to play! The front is in better condition then the back I think they are fixing it up tho. Hope you have fun like I did! Enjoy!
Royal Scot GC
Any skill level player would enjoy this course- a couple challenging holes, but over all just a nice course. Some ground under repair, so unable to get a true reading, but I would go back to play again. Staff & food great!
Greens are as good as advertised
I decided to try this course which is a bit of a drive for me but sounded intriguing based on other reviews.
Positives,
- competent, friendly service
- pace of play was perfect
- greens were in great shape
- wide fairways to accommodate everyone
Negatives
- Provisional tee boxes on about 3 or 4 holes. I don't know what happened but they reseeded the original tee boxes and they appear to be a year away from being usable.
Overall I liked this course and the people that run it. We played the whites which, combined with shorter provisional tee boxes made for short distances but many holes are doglegged which prevented an aggressive approach. They have a very nice clubhouse with a large bar/restaurant and a nice area outside to enjoy a fine cigar after your round.
Smooth greens
Greens were excellent. Area had lots off rain before round so rough was thick. Wide fairways and medium large greens made play easier for visiting players.
Nice Course
Nice course. Greens in great condition, but a number of tee boxes were not, a few were completely closed off, with an area off to the side mowed low as a temporary tee area. Some fairways, especially on the back nine were very wet and soft, we had a number of balls that plugged in the soft turf. Can't believe they were letting carts out in these conditions. These fairways will be very lumpy when things dry out, unless they are tended to. Otherwise the course is nice to play, somewhat open, with large greens.
Great course, friendly people
I went on a weekday at noon by myself and was able to complete 18 holes in 2 hours. Groups let me play through and had nice conversations with me while I did. The back 9 was a little wet, but that's expected with it being a wet spring and just rained the day before. The staff was great and let me start on the back 9 so I didn't have to wait.
early season
Being early in the season, I can understand why the course was still soft. Course very bumpy to ride in a cart. The bunkers were not raked at all.
The Greens are awesome!!!!!!
This is a great course to play. The fairways and greens are some of the best you'll play. It is not a very long course but however, it is challenging. The back nine is a bit bumpy but still nice. I would definitely play again.
Good value in Green Bay
Royal Scot Golf Course sits only minutes northeast of Green Bay. Ownership has invested in new sand for the traps, and the greens are always in good condition. Few forced carries make this a good course for weekend players, yet with enough length and challenge to be fun for better players. Multiple tee sets offer length appropriate for every level.
Can't beat the bang for your buck here.
The greens were some of the best I have played all year. Signage on the course is outstanding. The back nine has some bumpy fairways but does not take away from the course.
Great place for any level golfer to play!!!
Used to be a nice course, now-not so much
Course is just average. No memorability. Greens are in very nice shape but rest of course could use some work. Fairways are like riding over speedbumps all day. Maintenance staff was rude and would just keep working expecting us to wait for them rather than stopping and waiting for the customer.(and this was mid morning, not early) Won't return.
Course in great condition.
The clubhouse has a Wisconsin rural feel to it which, indeed, is exactly where it is. The food choices are basic and reasonably priced. As for the course itself it is fairly short from the white tees and fairly open. No forests to hit your drive into and lose a ball that way. However the course is surrounded by homes with the attendant out of bounds so you can lose a ball or two that way. I speak from experience. But the best part of playing here is the course condition. It really was great. Then fairways and greens were top notch.
GREAT VALUE!!!
I played the course the first week of june. Royal Scott had an outing that day so they were busy. I purchased a round off hot deal on here so it was like 22 bucks that included the cart.. Great DEAL.. I thought they had great practice area and range. I thought the fairways were a little wavy or bumpy but not to bad..Last I thought the greens where what stuck out most very nice.
