good course for a great price
the course is very challenging and will require you to hit a lot of irons off the tee on the back nine.
Nice.... For a Disc Golf course or Dirt Bike Track
It was cheap, so I shouldn't have expected much. We drove in to what appeared to be someone's old cow pasture. The carts were new but we would have been better off with a 4 wheeler or side x side.
As we rounded the front nine, it turns out that the drive way we entered on was smack dab in the middle of the fair way. I also managed to bounce a wedge shot off of a power line running through the 8th (I believe) hole. Never done that before!
I would venture to guess you could turn a better profit as a disc golf course or dirt bike track. Much of the course was washed out. Not a single good landing spot to be had anywhere on the course expect the greens; which were in all honesty pretty decent given the condition for the rest of the course. I think they may have horses or cattle help keep the fairways up.
I really was afraid I would scratch my driver on most tee boxes; where I could find the tee box when it was buried under pine needles, rocks and dirt.
Friendly owners operated...
Tough target course, but never too crowded... A great place to take kids.
Back 9 is super tough due to elevation changes & sloped fairways along w/rock cliffs & rock creeks, but worth the views to loose a couple balls.
Challenging
Short but challenging. Number 10 needs help....a lot of it.
GOOD GREENS ! GREAT "BANG FOR YOUR BUCK"
I have always believed that if the "Greens" are in good shape and Putt True, you can always "roll - em over in the fairways", and play the Game. "That's what you will find here". Along with "Super" people that are always friendly (Roger, Shirley & good ole Bo), and VERY REASONABLE RATES......................Enough said !
