The old guy working the counter/bar is a rude person. Extremely rude when I asked for ice.

Aerated Greens
Love playing at Willow. Only complaints would be there was some type of event going on at the bar when I came to check in, so I had to wait almost 20 minutes for the course employee to check me in. The greens had also been recently aerated so that was not ideal BUT it is a great course and I will be back regardless.

Fall ball
The greens were aerated and sanded but still very playable, it is maintenance time. They were working in other areas to better the course for next season as well, nothing that interferes with play.
I paired up with another single, it was our choice the course did not force us to pair up. I played on a Thursday afternoon and the course was wide open, no waiting no pressure from behind

Course was goo
Not a good day for me, have not played for awhile. Course was fine.
GolfNow App switched days so I had to cancel and rebook. Worked out ok.

I moved to NJ from Reading and I still enjoy coming back to play this course. I believe this is the best course in Berks County for overall value. There may be some
More expensive and more challenging courses, however, the course is always in good shape and it's the best value.

Heads Up
We recently played a round on a Sunday afternoon. The course was in nice shape and the pace was good. We finished in under 4 hours. The main concern was the threesome behind us. One of the players hit into us more than once, without ever apologizing, and another in the group nearly hit us on the 14th tee after a very tardy "fore". Will play the course again, but may bring a hard hat next time.
