Cart Fee
The golf now received did not show that I paid A cart fee. So I had to pay extra money again for the cart.Which should’ve been paid at the time I purchased the teatime from golf now.
Immaculate
The course was lush. The greens held marvelously and the condition was flawless tee to green. Definitely recommend this course.
Played my old home course once again
Back in the 70s, I was a member at Cumberland Lake. Was back in area and wanted to play it. Overall the course is in good condition. Last time I was here (earlier in the year) they were resodding a bunch of areas and tees were all moved way up. This time, not so. The greens were very smooth but also very slow. My guess, they need to be verticut. The course is very scenic. Some serious uphill/downhill/side hill shots. Very enjoyable afternoon
Relaxing
My wife and I played this course for the first time. Before playing course, staff gave us some tips that helped out on the course. Challenging course.Able to take our time playing 18..
You can't be serious!
We played this morning, and the greens were really bad. They hadn't been mowed, and appeared to have been aerified recently, so they were basically unplayable. They probably should have told us that, or offered a slight discount for the inconvenience. It's a decent layout, but the greens need to be MUCH higher on their list of priorities! Just my two cents ($30, actually).
Great course close to home!
I’m new to golf and have frequented this course a few times already and enjoy the lay out of the course. Some greens are being worked on, but overall like the course.
Good layout
Course is in fair shape there are a few greens that need a lot of work but other than that it’s a good course
Great Value with Veronica
Guys,
We are regular golfers and play some very nice courses. My buddy came up from Fairhope and we needed aplace to play on a Friday so we got an on-line deal and gave it a try. The shop was manned buy a very nice friendly lady named Veronica. She was very helpful, friendly, and super professional. The boss was out but that did not matter. This young lady had everything under control.
The fairways were excellent, burmuda. Greens were ery slow bermuda and took several holes for us to adjust from what we were accustomed to. After making the speed adjustment we started to get into a groove then our round ended.
Overall for the money this is a great hidden course and we will be back.

Good layout. Bad maintenance.
Some of the worst greens I’ve seen in years. Looks like a disgruntled greens keeper scalped most greens.
Played this morning and there were large mud areas on greens and the grass that was there was not mowed evenly. Fairways and tee boxes were fine. This course is close to being a great value, but the greens are unacceptable and ruin the experience
Cumberland Lake CC
Course in winter conditions, somewhat wet, tight lies, greens were just OK. First time playing so trying to figure out what to hit off a couple tees was challenging, mainly it is a drivers course though. Greens were spotty but should be good in the growing season. In retrospect the course layout is rather challenging, quite a few holes played long from the White Tees, holes 10 - 14 is a great stretch. Would definitely play again for shot value
Nice Layout
Considering how wet it has been we drove almost everywhere we'll be back this summer to see fully green.....
Enjoyable afternoon in the hills north of Birmingham
This isn't quite mountain golf but they have gas powered carts for a reason. There are a couple of holes that area a real test. I enjoyed the layout.
The pro was very friendly.
This course wasn't completely drained so it was a challenge to force myself to hit down onto the dormant grass that was soggy.
Beautiful
This is a beautiful course, especially for the money. When on the top of the mountain, you can see miles and miles! Greens are above average.
