Need a weedeater BAD
Shot 85 with a 2 day hangover so this isn't about taking out a bad round on the course. Fairways and greens pretty good but the place looked ratty. Grounds crew simply not being supervised or pushed to get it done. Hit you ball under a tree canopy? Forget it, it's lost. Weeds and clover everywhere. Huge tire ruts in many places haven't been filled. Not just an off day, it was like this the last time I was there. Webb is cheaper and about as good when their greens are nice.
Don't let the yardage fool you
This is a tough golf course. The yardage may not stretch out too far, only about 6500 if memory serves me right, but this golf course is tough! The fairways are narrow, the greens are small, and the speed of the greens is very quick. This is a great test for all skill levels. Plus, there is a good price tag, cheaper than the other "higher quality" public courses in town.
Good Course just need a little TLC
In all fairness, the overall play on the course is good. There are some wholes that look decieving, but will snap you in if you don't hit a crisp shot. But I think it either rained prior to our play or someone forgot to turn the sprinklers off. The grounds were a little saturated including the greens which were pressed down and fast! But the set up of the course is good and enjoyable! It's a contender for repeat play but would recommend if you are in the area and want to play a semi-challenging course.
"Hit 'em str8"
Excellent greens
Range balls look like the're from the Eisenhower administration. There are several ball-eating huge holes in several fairways, especially #7.
Course was in great shape but not my favorite place to play
The greens and fairways couldn't be better. But the overall size of the course is too small. All fairways are side by side. They must have over booked tee times. Way too many playing. Price was good. But I don't plan on going back
