Needs work
Layout good for short course. Fairways getting good. Greens in need of major TLC. Overall fun to play
Greens only mostly dead
Greens haven’t recovered from the winter yet, so putting can be frustrating. Chip it close!
Slow
I played this course while on vacation in Louisiana wanting to play a new course. It was a Holiday weekend so I knew it would be crowded but the pace of play was painfully slow. The course was in good shape except for a couple of tee boxes where the tees should have been moved. The layout of the course was fun just narrow in some places. The greens played pretty good but had a few bare spots. I would play this course again maybe during the summer.
Good Beginner Course
This course is great for beginners. The fairways aren't the widest, but the holes are usually side by side. So you're still hitting from the fairway, even though it may not be the correct one. Greens are pretty good for the most part.
Excellent course for the price. Can play a quality course at an excellent price.
Drained great after the rain on Thanksgiving.
Improving
This tract is getting better all around. The greens and fairways are improved with more consistency than before.
Go to BR course
I go here now that LSU Golf Course has become garbage. This course is all around nicer looking, playing, has better tee time management, as well as nicer staff. Is a great course for the price. Definitely play here if your in the Baton Rouge area.
Course in great shape. Excellent course for the price.
Highly recommend.
Good shape
Good value for the money. The greens are in better shape than the last time I played here. Staff is always friendly
6/20/20
Greens and fairways had just been aerated. Leaving not only the greens unplayable but the fairways in poor condition. The tee boxes were like concrete making it almost impossible to even put a tee in the ground.
Give the course a month and it my play
This is a cheap place to play a round but not where you want to go to have an experience of good quality golf.
The course was in good condition
First time playing in over a year. Had a great time just getting to play. Although it was hot, it was enjoyable. The course was in good condition for a public course.
A fun round for a fair price
My friends and I really enjoyed playing the fun but very playable course for a very fair price. This is a Muni for sure, but it was in mostly good shape and the layout and small greens made for a brisk, entertaining round.
Baton Rouge staple in great condition
Webb has been looking better than it has in a long time, even in winter. Greens have some patches needing work, but it’s a great course that feels fairly long and makes you use every club in your bag.
