You get what you pay for
This is very much a budget course. The fairways were covered in leaves and looked like they hadn't been raked or clipped in a little while, and the greens were pretty spotty. The tee boxes aren't marked so you're really just guessing where to hit from. The layout is pretty confusing with not much of the course being marked off. There is a nice driving range that's covered and has mats to hit from in case of rain, but the putting and chipping areas could for sure use work. For $20 a person for a round it is worth it, but if you're looking for a nice course to really enhance your play this isn't one I would go to.
Come to Love the Game
Great Beginners course. Course conditions are getting better, Get ya group and go enjoy a hidden gem.
Good public course
The greens on the front nine need work, but overall it is a good place to play.
It's just golf.
We reserved our tee time online but when we got to the course there was a tournament scheduled so we had to cut our round to 9 holes.
The conditions were not good but the weather has been super hot and dry all season so, ok.
Easy to play and inexpensive so we will return.
Greens need Wirk!!!
Course in good shape, however, The Greens are bumpy and need cutting and rolling!
Greens need Work!!!
Course in fair shape. Greens are bumpy and need immediate attention
Greens need TLC
Overall 18 hole course has a decent layout! Greens, fairways and rough need some TLC. Reasonably priced especially if you use Golfpass deal times.
Genuinely Impressed
First time playing this course and heard mixed reviews on it. Im impressed with the course. Is it the Refuge? no, but this is a course where you can genuinely learn how to play. The Carts are fairly new and it's being renovated by the day. the fairways are open and the greens are on the slower side. this is a good course. I'll be back
Good facility and improving
We got a hot deal and just wanted a place to play. This course fit the bill.
Great price, friendly folks.
The course was mostly straight fairways. Tees, fairways and greens were not in very good condition but playable. This year most area courses are suffering from similar conditions due to the winter weather so no big deal.
We would play this course again.
Lots of Improvements!
Pleasantly surprised that there are many course improvements and the greens are in great shape!!!
Bad conditions
The greens are in bad shape and the fair ways have no good drainage
Pete Brown is improving
I haven't played this course in a few months, but they have been making improvements to the facility. When I first started playing here, they were remodeling the restrooms and replacing the glass windows and doors. Now, they have a mini pro shop feel to them.
Mixed review
There are certainly many other courses there in much better shape, but I highly doubt you will find friendlier people. I would go back just because everybody is so nice. As a single I joined three guys that were an absolute pleasure to play with. This was my first time playing but last week went to the driving range to hit some golf balls. Both times the staff members could not be more accommodating, felt like it was my home course. It's obvious this course at one time was a wonderful course. It's not expensive to play, Just don't expect a top-notch course for the money. But enjoy anyway.
