The Olympic at Gold Mountain Golf Course
About
Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Washington offers two championship courses, the Olympic and Cascade, both of which are known as two of the best public courses in the greater Seattle area. The Olympic Course is the more challenging of the two with more hills and water hazards. Dramatically sculpted from the thick Pacific Northwest forest, the driving corridors are surprisingly generous. Towering evergreens line the fairways and there are significant elevation changes throughout, making it a complete workout to walk the course. The layout's most challenging element is the undulating greens, which are often guarded by bunkers and mounding. The final four holes are the most memorable featuring a combination of water, trees, and stunning views. The final hole on the Olympic Course is a drivable par 4 that is the perfect finish to your round.

What a course
Gold Mountain gets high praise just about everywhere and with reason. The Olympic Course is one that I could play a lot and never get tired. We arrived to the staff organizing an outing on the Cascade course and they had another outing on the Olympic Course that afternoon. A very busy course, indeed. The course conditions were amazing considering the number of outings per year. Tees, fairways, bunkers, and greens in perfect shape. The course was very playable without out being overbearing, but there were many challenging holes. A must play
Awesome course, but not for the normal rack rate.
The course was in great condition. Greens were fast but true. Pace was great, but it was a Monday afternoon. My foursome played ready golf, and didn't have to wait on anyone until the 15th hole, where we finally got slowed up by a group of 5. Beer was decently priced, but $3.25 for a regular size Gatorade was a shock. I will continue to play here, but only if I can find a good deal.
Great scenery
Course in great shape. Great greens. First time waking course. Long and a lot of slopes. My brother in law and I were paired with two men that have played the course recently, they were good company
One of the best!
This course is one of my favorites and never dissappoints. With the summer we have been having gold has done a good job keeping pretty much everything green. There are some brown spots but thats expected. If i had any complaint it would be that the greens were a bit firm and bouncy at times
One of my fav courses to play...always!
Course is in great condition. Excellent layout to test all skill levels. Even when playing alone it is challenging to go one-on-one against the course with enough options for risk-reward play. Will return to get a true test of one's handicap.
Great track on Peninsula
My home course and possibly one of the best tracks on the peninsula and in WA. Never tire of playing at Gold Mt. Greens are pretty much in tournament shape.. Go play it if you haven't
Perfection
This course is absolutely amazing. I'm not the best golfer, and my shots don't always like to go straight but this course is very forgiving while still being challenging. The greens and fairways and very well kept even though it's been a hot and dry summer. The one thing that you have to get used to during the nice season is the pace of play. Tee times are stacked and the average round time is anywhere from 5-6 hours. If there is a slow 4 some in front of your 4 some, it will be a long round. Awesome course for the price.
Must Play
Gold Mountain is a wonderful place to spend the day. Course conditions are top notch: green fairways, lush rough, and awesome greens. Despite all the warm weather we've been having, this place is still playing very fair and isn't getting burnt out like many other courses in the state. Olympic course is the better course of the two, but both courses are a pleasure to play. I will definitely be back.
great experience
Grass in the fairways. Greens fast and smooth. Beverage carts come around on a regular basis. Another day in paradise!
Overall the best course in Kitsap County
This is a great course for intermediate to advanced players. Challenging layout but fairways wide enough to let it rip. Greens in excellent condition. Lots of sunshine and vistas of the surrounding territory. My favorite course in Kitsap County.
Awesome up and downs
you'll need to crest over the hill to plan the next shot a few times but yardages are true. Pleasure playing this course would def make visiting a common occurrence if from the area
Seattle holiday
Awesome way to start our anniversary golf trip to Washington state!
Amazing layout, very fast greens, took us a few holes to figure them out but overall fantastic course.
Good course poor marshal
The course was in good shape, we finished the front in 2 hours 15 min and the back was more than 3 hours, there were no marshals and the course was very slow. It was an unfortunate end to a good day.
exceptional staff
Great sueface as soon as we stepped into pro shop. got out immediately and played 18 in 3 1/4 hours Great Fathers Day round
Very impressive
The was in great shape moved along well I met some nice folks I would likely play it again in great shape again
A great track but....
so slow.... and can be expensive if you don't catch it on a deal.
Great value
Great value for the Olympic Course. Great conditions and fun layout. Great public course.
a beautiful day in Gorst
The course was in great shape. The pace was fast. And the weather, but a for a breese, was perfect. The only that could could have improved the experience was a better score. Next time!
Fun experience
This course is always challenging therefore a lot of fun to play
I like the variety of up and down hills obstacles and placement of the holes in the greens.
One of my favourite golf courses in the Seattle area
Really great course
I recommend this to anyone, good practice facility, great course challenging greens.
If you can find a deal on Golfnow jump all over it, but even at full price it's well worth it.
