Sun City South Golf Course
About
The Sun City South Golf Course is normally a private club but during the summer months, public play is allowed. The course has a traditional layout with four sets of teeboxes for a variety of different golfing options, which allow golfers to work on a range of different handicaps. The golf course has a fair share of challenges with several sand bunkers and plenty of trees scattered throughout. There are also out-of-bounds stakes providing more difficulty. Water hazards come into play on some holes as well. The Sun City South Golf Course facility has a putting green and chipping area for golfers to use in addition to the course.

A nice summer round of golf
Now that summer is here. There are a lot of golfing opportunities. This course is well worth your time and money.
The average Sun City course.
Nice course very forgiving, which is why I chose it for my first course to return to after 2 years. Played a little later in the day so for those of you that don’t know the Arizona sun tends to dry the greens out a bit in the later hours.
Excellent Value
Large practice area
Errant shots not too penalizing, makes it fun
Fairways and greens in excellent shape
Allow walking.
Very playable.
Very playable and the pace was excellent. About 6500 yds from the blue, and you get close to 7000 yds from the tips.
Course of 5"s
Multiple groups of 5 made for a 5 hour round. Just not worth playing here. I cannot recommend.
Hate 5 somes
Was very slow because they let out 5 played per group. left after 9 holes (2 hours and 45 minutes). Will not be back :(
Great bang for your buck
Price was unbeatable. 15 dollars for 9 holes. We played the white tees, but there are blue and black tees, stretching to near 7000 yards. The course can truly be played by anyone. The greens were very green, soft, and rolled true; albeit, a bit slow. All in all, an incredible deal to play 9 holes of golf for $15 at such a well-kept course.
Everything was geeat
Sand traps with plenty of raked, real sand ! Greens are tough but fair.
Easier but nice
Finished in under 4 hours on a nice day when the course was in very good shape. Inexpensive if you walk and the walk is easy. Course has fewer obstacles than the newer courses but still can bite back if you’re not careful. Played it several times over the past few years and very nice for golfing newcomers. I’d recommend this course to others.
Dimples Greens
Overr-all a good day sad and it shows that golfers over a period of days can not and do not repair their ball marks on the greens. REALLY HOW HARD IS IT
Terrible delays
Too many groups with five individuals, slowed the pace. I left after 9 holes. Never going back there
