Grandview Golf Course at Sun City West
About
Grandview Golf Course may be little known, but it provides a good challenge for players of all abilities. Although the course is relatively demanding, it is suitable for most players and there are also four sets of tee boxes to adapt the game to different skill levels or handicaps. There is a variety of different sand bunkers that golfers need to watch out for as well as water hazards that come into play on four holes. The signature hole is the par-5 13th hole, which is challenging not only due to its lengthiness but also because it requires an approach shot over water.

great time
paired with another single. Staff very friendly and course in great shape. Greens were very fast as was play. Had a great time but you would not know it by scorecard. I would do it again in a heart beat because of the experience. I would recommend playing Grandview because of the course's great condition, the pace of play, friendly staff, and great time had by all.
This course has good layout
This course has friendly staff and great features.
I will recommend to my friend.
I hope I could play again...
Best course in Sun City
I've played almost every course in Sun City and Sun City West this year. In my opinion this course is the best of the bunch. Forget the cart staging area between the pro shop and driving range, it's a crowded mess. But once on the course this track ranks with any private club in town. Lots of variety, deep bunkers, elevated greens, good grass and some very difficult holes make Grandview a course I will play many times in the future.
Nice design, great for all levels!
My only complaint would be that the greens were extremely firm, leaving no ballmarks and holding no shots. It must've cost me about 8-10 shots!
Good course.
The day I played, carts were limited to "cart path only" due to recent overseeding, which made for a long day.
The course was beautiful and challenging.
course is fair for every level of player
The course had just opened and was in beautiful condition, the greens howver were bumpy and slow,,,this was the only thing we were unhappy with..

This golf course is always in great shape . It seems they know how to maintain their course better than most of the others in the area.
excellent place to play
Awesome course, i did not start until 3:30 PM.Got the whole round in at 3 hrs, pro shop is well stock with many options, it is a old course, front nine fairly challenging
back nine is much harder. Great shape. No curb help, for clubs, parking is good and close to the pro shop.
I am going back this week end. I love this course. I did not use the 19th hole.
Great course for the money
I played this course in the afternoon for $10 and there was no one out there (finished in less than 3 hours). The course was in really good shape except for a couple of greens were a little bumpy but everything else was in great shape. The bunkers even had pure sand which isn't easy to find in Arizona. The course wasn't overly challenging of the tees as it was wide open for the most part. The greens on average were very big and they had some very difficult pin placements and some very well placed bunkers that came into play. I would definitely recommend this course especially for $10.
Course is worth the money
Nice condition, and pretty difficult to shoot a good score.

Great course for the price. The best course at SunCity. Excellent for beginners but also for all golfers. Under 20$, it's a deal ! I liked to play this course.
Great Value in Phoenix area
In its category, this golf club is a jewel. The price / quality ratio is excellent. I believe that everyone should play in this place.
Impressed
This was my first time playing Grandview. Pass by it all the time and always tell myself, I'm going to play there.
I was very pleased with the condition of the course, given this is the middle of the summer, and most courses have burned up greens and dead spots in the fairways. Not Grandview.
Tee boxes are in great shape, level, few divots.
Fairways are lush and wide, just the right amount of rough if you miss them.
Bunkers are well manicured and playable, should you find yourself there.
Greens are in very good shape, not too slow, but definitely not fast greens.
The gentleman in the pro shop was very friendly and provided a lot of information about the course.
The course gets long on the back 9, starting with 13. They throw in a creek and a separated fairway as well, so be ready.
Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Just wish it could have been about 20 degrees cooler outside!
Thanks Grandview.

The course was in great shape. Some of the other courses I have played recently are starting to brown out on the fairways and greens. This course had only one minor spot where there was a small brown area.
great course and value
This was my first time here and I must say I was quite impressed. The greens were smooth and the fairways actually had grass! This course is all about the greens. Fairways are the widest I've played but greens are well protected by sand bunkers and deep hollows. The staff was very pleasant. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that in 108 degrees there seemed to be only 1 water fountain per 9 and on the front nine it didn't work. So stock up on liquids and go enjoy this gem of a course.
Course is in excellent condition
Played as a twosome in 3 1/4 hrs. Fairways and
greens were in excellent condition for this time of year. No brown outs on either. Bunkers had sand
and raked nicely even in the afternoon. All staff members very friendly and helpful. A nice variety
of holes. Both long and short pars, plus water in
play but also room to avoid. Challenging but will
not beat you up.
Excellent Summer value
Where else in the valley can you spend $21 for an excellent 18 holes of golf.....
