About
Located in Little River, S.C., Eagle Nest opened in 1971 and was designed by Golf Course Architect Gene Hamm. The layout is laid out across 250 acres of gently rolling land, rare for a course near Myrtle Beach. The course has been upgraded recently and includes a set of "Perch" tee boxes that play over 8,100 yards, making it the state's longest golf course.
Super senior and player-friendly tee boxes up front have also been installed. This traditional low country layout features not only rolling undulations in it but mature Carolina pines, an abundance of wildlife and beautiful natural landscaping.

Worth Taking a Chance
It is always improving, and a fun quick afternoon round. The course has some "quirkiness" to it, but it isn't trying to hurt your round. I think a good value for golf & the staff is friendly, and the greens are looking good for August in MB area. Water in a lot of places so you may want to "regrip your ball grabber", it could be used a lot!

Enjoyed the course. Tom at the cart area kept things moving and had great time management
Great location to North Myrtle
Friendly staff, fun course, greens were slow but seems a lot of courses are this time of the year.
Great layout
I am a 7 handicap and my wife is 23. We really liked the layout. Sometimes on a lot of course the holes look the same. Not here. Good golf test for me from the blue tees and my wife from the yellow tees.
Good course and looks to be getting better.
First time playing here, course was in good shape, but you could tell it's going to be even better as they were working on the course. Over all I would recommend this course and will be back on future vacations.
Great layout
The course has a great layout with holes designed to challenge your skills. Shot making is crucial to score well. Slight drawback, slow greens.
Greens too slow
We knew the greens were aerated within the last month but they weren’t cut recently and were really slow and bumpy. The rest of the course was great for the $$ and liked the layout. Pace of play was just ok.
