About
Set in the heart of the Grand Strand's Lowcountry plantation area, Indigo Creek is laid out through large oaks and flowing creeks, especially the back nine, though the views have been somewhat spoiled by housing. The course is built over an old rice and indigo plantation with some nice elevation changes, lakes, waste bunkers and undulating greens. It's a Willard Byrd design, with Bermuda greens and a slope rating of 128.
Indigo Creek is another of those Myrtle Beach-area courses that fell into a disreputable state only to be saved by a new ownership group. One golfer who'd had a bad experience there described it after the refurbishment as the best-conditioned course in Myrtle Beach.
Indigo Creek isn't overly long at 6,744 yards (the shortest of its four sets of tees shortens to 5,921. It is an exciting course with an significant number of doglegs, bunkers and water. The back nine is set among giant oaks and gently flowing creeks.

Great Course
Fun time good layout. Green in good shape, course a little wet due to recent rains. Lots of water throughout the course.
Really fun course
Fairways unfortunately were as hard as concrete. Greens were super hard and fast.
There is a need for more bathrooms on the course, 1 for the entire 18 is not enough.
Otherwise, fun day
So-so
The course, tee to green, was decent….the greens were among the worst I have ever played on…..no grass, more linoleum then earth.
Very challenging,,water on most holes . Fairways in good condition, greens were fast and some were needing repairs. Overall, nice course
This is a target golf course.
Target Golf, the only thing missing is Grass.
Way too many bare spots and green dirt.
The greens were lightening, but a lot of fungus or moss on the greens. Bring your short game, short stayed short, long went real long.
Some TLC and a good groundskeeper would help tremendously.
Needs time to grow
I know it's early Spring. However, pretty pricey for course conditions today. Maybe it grows in over the next month or so. Greens extremely spotty and fairways are thin to no grass.
Indigo go go
First time at Indigo with a group of 6 from NJ! Everyone had a great time with good rounds.. If you like a challenge hitting around water hazards this is the place!
Great day of golf
Course was in good condition and the greens were in good shape. Pace of play was great. Enjoyed the day. Course has lots of water.

Very Nice Course
Paid for 18 holes, only played 9 due to weather and sun going down. This is a very nice course and fun to play. It has ponds and sand traps. Greens were good. Will play there again.

Where did I go?
Went to washroom on the course. Came out and went to #8. Played it and then sign says “#14”. I must have taken a wrong turn. Didn’t see any sign otherwise.
