Tatum Ridge Golf Links

Greens in great condition. No so much for rest of course. Tee boxes have little to no grass. Bunker edges all deteriorated and sand was muddy. Fairways were dry with patchy weeds and some grass. Hard pan is how my group of 12 would describe the fairways. Very disappointing considering what I paid.

Tatum Ridge is one of our favorite golf courses in Sarasota. There are so many problems right now with tee boxes and fairways that have little or many places with no grass. The course layout is always good except now with the all 18 holes shortened by tee boxes moved forward. The 4 par 5’s are very short par 4’s. The greens are the best kept part of the course.
The course should be closed down now to have a complete reconstruction process. I hope this happens.

Second time playing at Tatum Ridge. Much better than last Spring. Greens were good and Fairways were quite playable. Tee Boxes need help, but not a real detriment to the round.

First of all you must pay for water unless you bring your own tumbler or cup... Then the fairways condition is very poor. However the tee boxes and greens are fine. The bar is very average and drinks are not cheap. The layout of the course is not memorable and many holes look alike. Boring...

Tee boxes in bad shape, fairways burnt and hitting off of hard pan all day. Greens putted well though, the only saving grace. Online tee time system a pain in the butt and the only way to not get gouged. My personal ugh rating...

I will begin by saying the positive things about Tatum Ridge: the day was beautiful, the staff was friendly and the greens were in excellent condition. We had a group of 15 players and it was unanimous that we shouldn’t play there again. The fairways were in terrible condition. You could hit the ball in the center of the fairway and be on hard pan dirt or sand. Every fairway shot was a tight lie. It made the round miserable. Until we hear that Tatum has restored their fairways to great condition, we won’t be playing there again. Sorry for the bad review but it needed to be said.
