Golf Club At Terra Lago - North Course

Greens diseases but putting is bad or ok not more.
Fairways are in good shape
Bunkers whit weed, some are hard some are soft.
But is a nice place to play

Nice layout. Could tell it was a good course back when it was new. Greens are diseased and need significant recovery time. Doesn't offer most of the amenities of other PS courses (no free range, no water bottles, no on course drink cart, no gps) but it is cheaper than most. Of course, it is also a longer driver away than most courses.

Not sure I would play it again unless it was all that was available.

Overall the course was fun and challenging. Nice layout with many elevation changes with water on several holes. The Tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. The greens, not so much. The First 4 holes were terrible and then the rest had fugus patches all over them. Still worth playing. The course did play long. I played gold tees at 6500ish yards, but it felt longer.

Nor worth the money. The greens on the north course are in terrible shape. It’s embarrassing. Burnt out areas, lots of dirt areas, shaggy in others. I won’t go back.

Not a great experience. Started with the computers not working in the pro shop, so we had to wait 15 minutes to check in. The group in front of us played like something from an old Tim Conway skit...barely moving. There was no marshal to move things along. We never saw a beverage cart anywhere on the course. On the 13 hole our cart started to beep incessantly, indicating the battery was low. I called to the pro shop for assistance with a different cart, but no one answered. This is at 2pm! The call went to a cue, which was eventually answered by what sounded like someone in the restaurant. She said she would call the pro shop and have them send someone out to us, but then came back and said no one answered. She said she would go find someone to help us. In the meantime, the cart started working only sporadically. I had to turn the key off, then on, then put it in reverse and quickly move it to forward to get it to move, all the time it's still beeping. I had to do this every time we stopped. Fortunately, after the 15th hole we were at the clubhouse, where the only person there was the kid who cleans clubs. He was able to get us another cart to finish our round. How can there not be anyone in the pro shop at 2pm!!! We paid a significant green fee, so we were extremely unhappy with the customer service and the fact there is no GPS on the carts. All the other courses we played in the area had GPS for a similar green fee. We won't ever play at Terra Lago again!!!

A nice course with some fun elevation, good course conditions, and good value for spring in the desert.
