Kenwanda Golf Course
About
Kenwanda Golf Course overlooks the Snohomish River Valley with views spanning the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges. Located just 40 minutes north of Seattle, the course is one of the best golf values in the area. Ken and Wanda Harris built the course in 1967, which has since garnered a reputation as a great place to practice every aspect of your game. Though the layout is not a formidable test, you'll find challenging elements throughout, including hidden greens and sloped fairways that are lined with mature trees. The holes are long and hilly, making the golf course a bit tough to walk, but providing stunning views. Flat lies are hard to come by on the tough greens, which have tricky pin placements as well. Accuracy is key at Kenwanda Golf Course; if you can't keep it straight you might find yourself in the trees.

I enjoy a round of Gold at Kenwanda
Kenwanda is not the Best course in the Northwest and sometimes I forget about going back. But I must say, if Golf is about enjoyment it is hard to go wrong playing a round at Kenwanda. It is challenging enough to play and it has some very fun holes.
The Club House People have a great attitude and ad the the enjoyment.
The ground is very 'Bumpy'
I would recommend walking this course, as the entire course has very un-even ground, making the cart very bouncy, loud and annoying.
The course its self isn't in terrible shape. The rough is pretty short grass, not much different than the fairway. The greens were in pretty good shape, but not very consistent (some really soggy and some very hard and dry).
I used golfnow.com and got 18 holes with a cart for $18. I wouldn't pay any more than that for this course.
Friendly, local, easy to get on
We have played Kenwanda over many years. Pin placements on hilly greens always a challenge.
Good golf course ruined by bad greens
This is a fairly good course with very bad greens. The grass on green is just too long to make a putt. Orther than that everything is in pretty good condition.
Quirky with challenge
I had not played at Kenwanda since I was a kid and couldn't break 100 and remembered it as a goofy up and down course. Well, still a goofy up and down course but a blast and there is a premium on accuracy and course knowledge as being on the wrong side of the tiny massively undulating greens is certain death. I was curious as to why the greens were not mowed closer but soon realized that quick greens given their slope would make 4 putts common. Tee to green you don't have to be long but better be straight. Greens are tiny. I will play it again.
course in best shape in years
i have played this course for 30 years or so,1st time i have been there this year, was happy to see the course in great shape. It sits on top of a ridge,so a lot of uneven lies, almost every shot, but for the price its a great course, laid back and not to crowded, its a great place for kids and 1st timers but also a challenge for any golf skill, greens are small alot of up and down shots.....have fun and hit it str8
Short course but still have to hit golf shots to score
Played it with two of my regular golfing buddies all have handicaps in 12-18 range a walkable course but better to ride, only problem is it cost $26 to rent a golf cart which takes away from the otherwise reasonable good value for greens fees.
Nice Course
I enjoy playing Kenwanda and play here frequently. I think the course is its best value when you can get a slight reduction in price. Overall it is a lot of fun but the fairways are a little longer than you would find other places and the greens a little more inconsistent.
Overall a good value especially when getting a discounted rate.
nice shot variety tee to green
Tee to green variety makes it interesting. Trees right and or left. Severe slopes on 12 or 13 or 14 greens
This course had great views
Great course for your typical golfer. Definitely got my money's worth and had a blast. Amazing views, relaxing, and very low key.
Good value
The course was well maintained and the staff was very friendly, I would play here again
Great views on this hilly course, not long but a large variety of shots have to be made.
A nice country course. Greens need maintainance and the fairways need to be cleared of fresh mown grass.
Lot of up and down, hardly any level areas, but it does make for a challenge. Uphill and downhill lies, lots of "hit left of center, ball rolls right and vice versa".
For the money it can be a fun course.
fun local coarse, very rough ride in the cart, but I expected that!
Couldn't see allot of greens when teeing off! Very rough fairway's
Not that great
Too many blind tee shots onto fairways where the grass was just too long led to a lot of time just looking for golf ball and that was the straight ones!!
Greens were ok in condition for the price you pay.
Easiest way to improve this course would be just simply cut the grass, pace of play was painful slow but we saw a lot of groups doing exaclty what we were doing, just couldnt locate a ball on the fairway. Sorry but wont be back to this track.
great for the money
The day was beautiful, but the greens made it a bit annoying. They were very hard, and not very big. Many shots rolled on and off the green. All of us had trouble with them. The setting is beautiful, however.
ok for the price
good for the price greens small but good condition.
A few holes were wet but that was to be expected. The day was beautiful and the views were fabulous.
The day was beautiful and the course was in pretty good shape, it was the first time to play it and we had a wonderful time. The views, on the right day, are fabulous. the course is wet in a few places which impacted things but overall it was pretty good.
Good course
The course is great even for beginners! Not too many sand traps or water hazards.
great price, good walk
small greens which need work. cold day, very enjoyable as there were very few people on the course.
