Thanksgiving Point Golf Club
About
At more than 200 acres, the Golf Course at Thanksgiving Park is one of the largest and lengthiest courses in the state. Since its opening, the golf course has received many accolades from publications like Golf Digest, Links Magazine and TravelGolf.com, calling it the best public golf club in Utah and one of 15 "hidden gems" in the country. The golf course was built on mountainous terrain with a desert landscape and the Jordan River meandering through it. To add even more to the scenery, there are also flower gardens and pine trees sprinkled throughout the course. There are many elevation changes and a good amount of undulation on Thanksgiving Park's greens. The mounded fairways are lined with trees. Water hazards come into play on some holes and there are also over 100 bunkers present

Beautiful course, diverse holes, fun over the river/ gotgepar 3s.long par 5,over water par 4.
Fun course
Best track in the city
Best track around Salt Lake. Difficult with often wind 15-20 miles/hour. Las couple of year, the course are not in great shape, but this spring excellent condition in fairway and around green.
Great value
Few rough spots in a couple fairways but the best value I’ve seen for a course. $50 riding. Greens and views were immaculate. Great layout with challenging holes as well
Frost delay
One hour frost delay. Clubhouse employee worked with me to go back 9 / front 9 to get in the 18 holes I paid for.
As with many courses, golfers don’t play total yardage here, they play certain tees and therefore get destroyed in the process. Many golfers unwilling to challenge their manhood and skip up a few tees and appeared to be shooting about 120.
Great course
Beautiful scenic course and well maintained. Good pace of play and well worth the price! Very challenging with lots of bunkers and longer holes to make things interesting for even the most experienced players
A Traveling Golfer
Enjoyed playing on a warm Friday afternoon as I was traveling through Utah. Course was in really good condition but played long and difficult for this bogey golfer. Challenging shot making opportunities even though the fairways were generous on most holes. Many well placed traps along fairways and around the greens. Keep it in the fairways. Managing elevations and winds added to the challenge. Large greens putted slow, but provided many undulations and levels. All of this in a beautiful setting along the Jordan River. Three of the Par 3s offer picturesque and challenging shots from elevated tee boxes. Many beautiful holes looking from the tee boxes. If you are looking for a challenge, this is the course for you.
Great Public Course
Very nice course. Great layout, good condition. Some pretty holes.
Great course
Today was a great round of golf. Friendly staff and very professional
You Can't Go Wrong
The course is a very solid design and as a professional caddie,I can tell you that the greens are more nuanced and difficult than meets the eye. They are LEGIT! Young Brett in the pro shop is always a pleasure to deal with.
Solid Golf Course
I think the course is over-hyped but it was still a great course and a lot of fun to play.
Awesome!
Absolutely beautiful. Best course I've played. I will definitely play it next time I visit Utah.
I will be back!
As a member of a Private club in the area, I've not played any of the public courses. This one has me second guessing my choice. A fantastic layout, great views and a ton of fun to play. With some TLC this course would be a lot higher ranked.
