Course conditions poor
This is the worst I have seen this course in a long time. They have a lot of nerve charging the price they did to play this course under these conditions.
Favorite Goat Track ever
You aren’t here for the layout, you aren’t here for scenery, you certainly aren’t here for the course conditions. You are here because it’s the babe and it’s awesome. Never stop sucking!
Just not playable
This course is in some of the worst condition I have seen in a while. The tee boxes are basically sand and anything 50 yards, you were hitting off dirt. Even the fairways were in bad shape with weeds and overgrown grass scattered everywhere. Pace of play was poor and I was playing for 4.5 hours and played the back 9 solo. Staff is excellent and the people playing were nice.
Babe Z
The course is undergoing maintenance. Front nine was closed for green aeration. Back nine was aerated the day prior. Greens were punched and sanded. Tee boxes were also aerated. Fairways are starting to fill in but need more of the summer rains. Maybe in 2 or 3 weeks it will be playable again, but until then play somewhere else…
Fair course for beginners
Teed off in early afternoon. Pace of play couldn’t be better. Service was friendly and quick. However, course was pretty beat up. Fairways and tee boxes had a lot of bare spots. No rakes in some sand traps and no yardage markers that we could find but the course was pretty short even from the back tees. Greens were surprisingly in decent condition. Layout was straightforward. A course for beginners or if you just want to get out for a casual round.
Great Course
I’m a beginner, but this was a fantastic course to work on short and long shots. Staff was awesome, it wasn’t busy, so I was able to golf a 2nd round and could’ve done a 3rd but got rained out. For my first time being in Florida, this was a great place to play!
Not for the cost, maybe rethink your rates!
I’ve played here twice now and each time during a good rain season, still the fairways are barely alive in places. The charge to play in the peak hours of the sun beating down on you (1-4 pm), is way too pricey for the conditions you are able to play with! Also space out the pace of play by selling less of your over priced greens fees, like avoiding tee times with only 5 minutes spaces between each other!
Love the course
I like playing the course. Pace is always good and the course is in pretty good shape, especially since we haven’t had any rain in a while here.
Nice course
Very nice course in fair condition. Green’s could use a little work but otherwise very good.
First time here
Course was ok. April in Florida, so course was a little dried out. Greens rolled good, were soft, but a little patchy. I enjoyed the oak trees lining the fairways and that they were trimmed up. I will play this course again, probably in the summer.
Wonderful experience
What a lovely course to play. Lot’s of challenges. Pace was good. A great round of golf
Great day
Forst time playing. Course was in great condition considering the drought that this area has experienced l. Greens were challenging. Would golf here again
