Longbow Golf Club
About
The Longbow Golf Club offers 18 holes of par-72 golf that measures 7,003 yards from the Tips tees.
A round of golf at the Longbow Golf Club kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which measures 451 yards from the tips. The back nine kicks off on the monstrous 10th hole, a par 5 that comes in at 626 yards from the tips. The round of golf ends up a bit easier, with only 474 yards separating the tips tee from the hole, a distance that the golf club recommends golfers clear in four strokes.
Longbow Golf Club offers SoloRider golf carts, allowing golfers with disabilities the chance to get around the golf course, as the carts are able to drive right on the greens without causing any damage.

Red Mountain overlooking Longbow Photo submitted by Rick7542173 on 08/15/2013
Longbow Summer Special
Deal time round in August turned out to be a great value. Some tee boxes were closed for renewal but other than that the course was in great condition. Mountain View’s and no adjacent residential development made for a nice environment. The greens fee included a small warmup bag for range and the staff and amenities were top notch. I don’t think I could afford to play during the winter season but was definitely worthwhile with TeeOff deal rate. Great experience overall!
Outstanding conditions
The course is in excellent shape , especially during the summer
Great Golf Course!
Longbow is a great golf course. It is challenging but fair. The course was in excellent condition even though we had record high temperatures. They had coolers filled with water bottles every 3 holes. That was such a great service especially since it was 110 degrees.
Perfect experience
I don’t write many golf reviews. I’ve played every course in the valley, both summer and winter, and right now for this time of year the course is in premium conditions. Greens rolled true, not many burnt out pieces of grass, and most holes offer a variety of different shots. Most par 3s are short aside from the last of the day but pin placements can be difficult. Par 4 are different around the course with a drivable par 4 on the front 9 and some that play around 450 throughout (depending on tees of course). Par 5s are scorable but definitely honest. To shoot a good score it certainly takes some good shots, but overall love how every hole presents a unique challenge. The only downside of the course is the lack of shade. Definitely recommend a late afternoon round or early morning in the summer, but for the lack of shade the course certainly is kept in good shape. Great for the price. Tee’d off at 5:47 pm on a Wednesday and played 18 by 7:39. Sprinklers came on at 7:30 so I would suggest going out at 5:30 at the latest.
Best in Mesa
Other courses look like dog tracks compared to Longbow. A fee tee boxes renovated but otherwise immaculate.
Longbow is back as fairways are green
Fairways are as good as July allows, greens are improving from micro-punch, most bunkers have good sand and staff is awesome. Longbow is best in Mesa.
Just ok
I understand trying to find a great conditioned course, without paying an arm and a leg, this time of year is a challenge. A lot of bare spots in the fairway and greens haven’t recovered yet from punching. Mixed feelings about playing again until, maybe, October!
Great course and value
Included are a small bag of range balls and water bottles throughout the course. Very nice outdoor patio for a beer afterwards.
Always a great day
This course is on of the top courses in the East Valley. It’s a great layout and generally in great shape. However, the tees and greens were good, but the fairways were the worst I’ve seen here. They were still playable, but tons of bare areas and maybe even fungus looking. A few of the greens had the same thing, but only in small spots.
No matter, I still enjoyed my time, the golf course, and the new friends I made in my foursome. We finished in just over 4 hours and beat the heat! Lol. Hopefully the remedy the fairways, as this is a great course to play. God bless!

Good challenging course
Played this course for the first time, glad I was paired up with someone who had experience on the course. Greens were hard and firm, course was set up fair. The staff there is a little weird about giving out the cart keys until right before your teetime. I guess that’s how they control it, anyway overall good experience.
Longbow getting crispy
Greens were hard and fairways mostly brown - need a little more water in the right spots.
