Painted Mountain Golf Club
About
The Painted Mountain Golf Club is a challenging desert-style course with a variety of different tees to accommodate every age group and skill level. The course offers a lengthier challenge from the first hole, a par-5 dogleg right, to the last, which requires an approach shot over water in order to reach the green. The Painted Mountain Golf Club, in addition to the course, is also home to the John Jacob's Golf School.

Winter golf in Arizona
Course grass is the best it's been in years. Played in 3:45 hours.
Ridiculous
1:30 tee time...Took 4 hours to play 11 holes...then got too dark to play...meaning that even if we could have played more, 18 holes would have taken 6 or 7 hours. They shove as many people on the course as possible with no regards to pace of play. Every tee box had 8 to 12 carts waiting to tee off on every hole. Just total greed on their part...jack up the prices double while the winter is here and over crowd the course knowing a round will take 6 hours to play. Then I called to complain about 4 hours for 11 holes and they defended that pace of play and the guy hung up on me. What a bunch of greedy jerks...don't waste your money...it will take all day to play and you will wait 30 minutes at each tee box waiting.
great value
Staff was super friendly and efficient. Early start along with a regular group that played Nine holes starting on the back. Club house was packed and still only took a couple of minutes to get checked in. A lot of rain overnight so the course was wet but didn't effect play. Will play again for sure.
Outback
Slow play people behind kept hitting balls up to us..
Rough around the greens had clumps of grass all over and having 4 par threes on the back 9 bottlenecks everything…won’t be back
Great course for the money. They could use a few more signs to find a few of the holes for first time players
Brutal Pace of Play
We played as a foursome, two of us played from the blues and two of us from the whites, we had a threesome in front of us that we caught up to on ever tee box. The problem wasn't them but the threesome in front of them were playing awfully slow. The ranger was out driving around but refused to ask them to pick up the pace and waited until we got to the 13th hole to ask them to pick it up. There was also dirt mounds around the greens that could be simply smoothed out with a rake, it would take the ranger two minutes to do that if he carried a rake around with him. Overall the golf was good except for the slow play.
Painted Mountain
The course was in wonderful condition. The starter felt like the local people could hit 2 balls each off the number 1 hole. That held up the play at the start, we waited on every hole. We were to tee off at 1:15 which would gave us plenty of time to complete round of 18 holes. We never got onto the first tee till 1:45 which made us not to finish playing before dark. The remark that got me the most was when a player in front of us said we were not locals but they were so they can do whatever they please.
EXTREMELY SLOW
Arrived 15 minutes before our t time
Teed off 40 minutes after our t time
Spent 5 hours on the course
Long day
