About
The Tonto Verde Golf Club offers two uniquely testing 18-hole championship golf courses, each featuring marvelous vistas, smack dab in the middle of the Arizona desert, which have earned honors for their design and playability. The golf courses were designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, who kept the features created by nature when they put together the Peaks golf course, which measures 6,744 yards.
The two golf courses at the Tonto Verde Golf Club feature desert-style target-golf designs, but the designers ensured that golfers of all levels would be able to play them.
The Peaks golf course at the Tonto Verde Golf Club is laid out shorter and skinnier from the tees than its sibling, the Ranch golf course; however, it doesn't offer any less of a challenge for golfers of all levels.

Great condition for mid summer
Hidden gem and a great value. Course was in great condition for aug golf in Az. Staff could not have been friendlier and the course from the practice facilities to the actual course were in great condition.
Our Round
I took two friends to play this course who had never played here before They both enjoyed the course the pace of play and the amenities All of us would definitely play the course again and probably try the peaks course once it opens for play this summer.
Nice course for $38 price, very playable and enjoyed the round...no cart service, play early and bring drinks
Tonto Verde Golf
Great day! Conditions were wonderful staff was nice. Pace was good through most of the round. No cart service available, but we knew that ahead of time. We will definitely be coming back here.
1st time playing tonto verde
Very nice golf course. Will be back for sure. Greens and fairways, sandtraps in excellent condition. Love the mountain views and the homes around the course. Very challenging from the tips. The price is right for this course. Thanks for your hospitality.

The course was in great shape, the surrounding vistas quite beautiful and the staff very friendly
hard course but nice
most everyone was very nice and friendly from the bag drop to the pro shop to the cart girl,but the ranch starter has not he thinks he is "the man" i was booked as a single and he wanted me to play by myself behind lots of foursomes i asked him if he had anyone to pair me up with,tried to call on his dead radio, he got no response,This is a semi private golf course and at this time of year lots of members playing,course was in very good shape and the weather was perfect low 80's
Ausome course
Played the peaks before great course much tighter than the ranch must be accurate. Greens firmer than usual tough to stop the ball. Everything is 5 star about this course however a tad maniacal above driving in the rough could be friendlier about that.
Good course
Always had good experience at this course. On time and pace of play is excellent. Fees are compatible with other course in the area.

Excellent course. Nice flat tee boxes. Excellent greens. Fairways lush with great lies! Play it, you'll like it!
Tonto Verde - Ranch, A Hidden Gem
My visit to Tonto Verde reminded me of the gem this course is. It is nestled in a residential community in Rio Verde, so every hole is adjacent to homes. Fortunately, they are not so close that they feel intrusive or in play on your errant shots. The setting is very serene, with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The course itself was in wonderful condition. The fairways were green and well kept, and the greens were fabulous. Except for a handful of unrepaired ballmarks (players' fault, not the club's) the greens were smooth and rolled true, but quick. The bunkers, which I visited often, and are in good numbers on this course, were great. Nice, soft, white sand. Not hard dirt that is found so often at courses out here. The hole layouts were not particularly difficult, but presented a fair challenge, forcing you to choose the proper approach to the greens. The driving range is also wonderful. And, the staff was very friendly. Finally, if you visit this course, take the drive through Fountain Hills, up Pinnacle Road. It's one beautiful ride. I highly recommend this course.

Great course. Everyone from the pro shop to the starter was very nice and professional. Course was in fabulous condition. Worth the price every time!
Very nice, but you better have hit your driver straight
Very good, solid course. Great condition. Challenging, but fair. With that said, you better hit the tee ball straight or it will make for a long day. Good greens.
