Scam operation.
I paid you 2.90 and was supposed to pay 55.00 at the course. Pusch ridge charge me 62.98 at the course and said your charge was a reservation fee. That was a total scam. I would like my money refunded. Won’t play that course again.
Quick 9
My brother in law had a couple of hours to kill before heading back to Maine so we figured we would give Pusch Ridge a play. Great Value!, and quick pace of play. The course employees went out of there way to be helpful and were very nice. There is a practice chip putt area, and 2 hitting bays to loosen up.
Not easy, postage stamp greens, tight fairways, and out of bounds everywhere.
Great views of the mountains as well.
After playing some more expensive 18 hole courses in the area, this was definitely a notch down, but still fun.
The course is walkable, and worth a quick 9.
unfortunate
This is a great 9 hole course. But pace of play was ridiculous -- many holes had 3 or 4 groups. Lots of waiting on tee boxes. AND there is a bridge out on one cart path section that requires long travel on a road. Then the next hole which is a long one has been reduced to a 95yd oar 3. Greens are perfect and lightening fast -- fairways nice. NO RANGER, NO STARTER.
Great!
Staff is always friendly! Pace of play was perfect. Sometimes it gets bogged down from improper spacing between players.
Challenging Course
Not sure what to expect given that it was only 9 holes but was pleasantly surprised. Has a lot of various green layouts (elevated to down grades) making it challenging. A lot of the side line has cactus (that will bite), so you don't spend much time looking for a lost ball. One hole is surrounded on 3 sides by water with steep slopes on the edge of the green, so if you don't place it on the green properly there is a good chance your ball will roll into the water.
I walked the course, which was fairly easy. One pathway from the tee box to green (7th hole) was under repair meaning that I had to walk an extra distance (seemed like a half mile at least). Once that is repaired, walking would be no issue.
Like most courses in the area there is no discount for walking and not taking a cart. It's funny, because in Canada it is extra to take a power cart. Walking is the norm.
Round ends with 3 par 3’s ????????
Course was like playing on to of saucers! Greens were not good!
Great Value Fun to Play
I was able to play solo and I was not disappointed. The course was beautiful, challenging, and fun to play. After passing one four-some I played free of any slow downs or push from behind. The price and value was outstanding and I look forward to playing there again next time in Tucson. A real golf jewel if 9-holes fits your game. It did for me.
