Course was in good condition. Tee to green was manicured well. Greens rolled nicely. Nice scenery. No complaints.

What a disappointment …second worse practice area in Sarasota area, For putting, short game and long game. Disinterested staff. Cart paths awful, bunkers rock hard and no sand in them, greens need serious work , pock marked and poorly positioned pins. Fairways OK. Extremely slow play 5 +hour round. I Marshall in sight. No beverage or refreshment cart. Way over priced for the experience. Course design was interesting thanks Arnold Palmer. But he would not be at all proud to have his name associated with this place.

Don’t play this course in a 30 mph wind.
Bring lots of golf balls.
Pins in front on down wind impossible. Against wind pin locations were deep behind bunkers. Not an average golfers course.

1-$135 for horribly slow greens (think 9.5 tops), no range balls included (they don't even have buckets...they come in soggy wet bags, and only after waiting for them to pick them up), which is surprising as they are in "County course" condition. And no chipping green (have you ever chipped at something other than a green during a round of golf?)

2-Extremely rude, short tempered, and slightly delusional dude in the pro shop. He was rude to us, to the lady pro working next to him, and at one point stepped out the door of the pro shop to tell at everyone on the range to get off the grass (no one was on the grass, everyone was on the mats).

Conclusion- With decent range balls included, someone that cares more about other people than their own opinion on the pro shop, greens kept in good condition rolling decent (10-12.5), and an actual chipping green, this could be a $135 course. As is...it's best avoided for anything over $40.

Only negative was the pace of play, buts that’s come to be expected . Just over 4,30 for our 4 some.

Course is in good shape.

A complete challange on a very hot afternoon but worth the effort. The holes are a very interesting setup. Emjoy the trip.

Honest reviews help to genuinely chose courses. Therefore to be truthful Legacy is just an ok course.. Design is great but fairways are a bit dried out as are some areas of the greens. There is not much rough to speak of and plenty of tight lies even in fairways. All in all if u can get a hot deal this course is ok to play. If u want upscale and primo conditions try esplanade or Waterlefe

Nice layout. Lots of sand and water as usual. Friendly staff and a good after round bar.

Lunch, practice time, great round of golf, nice cart lady, and cold beer afterwards!
