Unfortunately, the climate of recent has not been conducive to healthy turf growth, but we expect that as the weather warms up again, that the vibrancy of the turf will again return.-Management Photo submitted by Ah1122 on 03/24/2021

In the distant future the course has potential.
This course being a Disney property you would
expect good to excellent conditions but it was
Quite the opposite. The overall course from fairways
to greens appears to be lacking water for health
grass growing. Putting on the greens was not fun
which everyone knows can be very frustrating. The
Back 9 on hole 17 we learned was under construction
for the past 2 years and it doesn’t look like they are
anywhere close to completion. All that being said for the cost of a round you should consider a different facility.
Disappointed Player!!!!!!!!
Construction and hole rerouting ruins the day
I booked with TeeOff and was not advised of the construction and hole rerouting. Compounding the problem was that the impact was on the last 3 or 4 holes. They actually needed rangers to tell you where to go. You could not enter your score for handicap because it was just unrealistic. You definitely need a laser because your watch won't work and the cart GPS was just difficult to understand. Too bad, because the rest of the course was quite nice and it will be great when finished, but a waste of money and time yesterday.
Very disapointed that TEEoff, Golf Pass did not make a point of highlighting the issue. We were advised by Magnolia the day before about the construction but by then too late to book something else.
Fun but…
I like the Disney courses but I wouldn’t consider them ‘memorable.’ The course was decently maintained, and there is a good mix of water and sand. Range balls are included in the price which is nice. Holes 15, 16, 17 and 18 are modified due to nearby road construction which accounts for the reduced greens fee. Course play is 4.5 to 5.0 hours though the layout would indicate a quicker pace. I love Disney and the occasional sound of the Magic Kingdom train’s whistle is great, but feel that the courses are overpriced.
Course Modifications
The Magnolia is one of my favorites in Orlando. Unfortunately they were working on a few holes and change the layout. If you have the option. I would wait until they complete their works before playing there.
Greens not in good shape. Slow.
Course under construction, was supposed to receive a discount, never happened.
Certainly not up to Disney standards.
Slow greens
The greens were painfully slow. We were told that the maintenance crews used the wrong grass cutters on the greens the week before and scalped them. They had to let the greens grow and will cut them to a proper length so they can roll better(around a 10 on the stimp meter) again.
Phenomenal Golf Experience
I golfed with my two adult sons and had an incredible time. Every staff person that we encountered was very welcoming and just about as friendly as you could be. We had a fourth person with us. They introduced us to the guy joining us and made sure we were good and he was good. The tee boxes, course and greens were extremely well maintained. It also helped that the weather was perfect! We are golfing Disney Palm tomorrow and are really looking forward to it after having golfed Disney Magnolia.
Huge Disappointment. Poor Greens
Sadly unless conditions improve this was my last round at Magnolia. First the good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was good and on course rangers were friendly and did a very good job.
Now the conditions. I have played probably 30 rounds in Florida this winter and these greens were by far the worst. And I mean by far. Slowest greens I have played in years. Third course I played in Orlando this week and the other two had good firm and quick greens---for less money. So they can't use weather as an excuse. Fairways were mediocre and very wet. Zero roll and tons of mud on ball on every single hole. Again other courses played within 10 miles were fine so weather can't be used as an out.
Also disappointed in GolfNow as I booked it here and there was no mention of course under construction on a few holes. The holes being renovated do look good, unfortunately I think other areas of the course are being neglected because of it.
Very cool layout but man these greens were just awful. Will email management and see what their response is. But for now I will not be returning.
Would not recommend
There are far too many options in the area than to play here. The greens were the slowest greens of anywhere I played. Do yourself a favor and play somewhere else that's far better for less money.
Wet conditions
Very wet course conditions but still very playable. Made course play very long. Last 4 holes are being adjusted due to construction which was a bummer. Greens were very nice.
Disney’s Magnolia
The course was wet and cart path only, so that really slowed the pace of play. The course is a challenge and I probably played one set of tees to far back because the yardage is a little messed up because it is currently a par 70 while under construction on a few holes.
Wet Conditions
This golf course is in a swamp, so if its been raining avoid it. We sloshed our way around the course the entire day. Lots of casual water, soggy fairways (every step gushed water), no role in the fairways, and wet bunkers. In fairness, the course said we could get a refund after playing two holes. Wished we would have taken them up on their offer. Since it was the first time we played, I didn't know the entire course was like that. That being said, even under normal dry " conditions, I don't think its worth $100. There are plenty of other courses around Orlando that are just as good that charge less. You pay for the Disney name.
Overpriced
Slow pace of play, under repair was not advertised before booking that multiple holes would be closed. Terrible value, many better courses in the area for less money.
Magnolia still in transition
Elected to play Magnolia with hot deal and knew the last few holes were still being reworked. Given that, Magnolia can still be a top notch course but I thought the greens and overall appearance is not to Disney standards. Greens were slower than I expected and had more than a few blemishes.
Given the price I paid, it was still a value. I won’t rush to go back until it is completed.
Disappointed
The pace of Play was ludicrously slow with no Ranger encouraging the couples in front of us to play “ready golf” and stop giving lessons while playing and the Greens were literally so slow it was incomprehensible (which I mentioned to the cart guy who said “yeah it’s rained so much we haven’t cut them”. Add to it that “Golf Now” said there would be a 15% discount at Sign In (it wasn’t prepaid) bc of renovation but the Magnolia staff didn’t want to accept this fact (I had screenshot evidence of it) and required a Manager to sign off on it even through the Rates Magnolia posted on their website were the same as the discounted price, $145. From here I had to listen to the Dir of Golf explain to me why Golf Now was wrong and he had to correct it with them (they did give the discount). The entire process was insane. But ultimately the Pace of Play and the Speed of the Greens made this Day very disappointing. I will not play here ever again. Strange Day indeed.
