Good value
Shenandoah Calley was a good golf experience. The white course was recently aerated and cart path only. The greens were good. The fairways still thin but had good roll out. The blue course was good. The layout provided different vistas and challenges. Definitely a good value.
Best bang for the buck
This course just keeps getting better. First time this year I played here and it’s looking great. Greens rolled true and the fairways were in great shape. Clubhouse with the additional deck space would be the perfect place for an outing. I’ll definitely be back!
Not a friendly staff and a starter
So rude to our group and not very informative. Due to the weather it was not good condition to play, too slippery. I requested inquiry to starter, an old gentleman, he seemed ignore me. Don’t go this golf course.
What a treat!
The staff is very friendly and responsive. The view if the mountains is spectacular a d the course was in great shape. Highly recommend!
Enjoyable Round
Course is very player friendly. If you play the right tee box you can have a good, enjoyable tkme. Course is in good condition.
Not the best this course has been
I have played here many times before in tournaments and never had a bad experience. Pace was very slow, at one point had four groups on a par 5. Greens were so fast it was like putting on a hardwood floor. Rough was too tall, lost a couple balls in wide open areas. Staff was friendly . Course is laid out ok but too many blind hills make this course a little unsafe. Had a ball land in our cart. Overall I’d probably give it another shot.
Course in great shape!
Always a fun and friendly course. Everything was in great condition for Spring!
Fun time good course
Winter golf pricing was awesome. Great fun. Will definitely come back!
Charged us double the price and blamed GolfNow
Booked this on GolfNow and paid the $10 service fee. We showed up to the course expecting to pay $35 but the course said GolfNow had their winter rates wrong and said if we wanted to play it would be $65. He didn’t honor the rate so we paid double.
Not As Advertised
It’s actually $65 instead of the $35 advertised when you book it on the app. Was a nice surprise to pay almost double what I thought I was going to pay when I arrived since the course didn’t fix the prices on GolfNow. The Starter is one of the rudest I’ve ever encountered. The course condition was awful. The fairways were entirely dead grass. I had to pay double what I thought I was going to pay for course that didn’t even have good fairways. Save your money and go to one of the cheaper courses in the Front Royal area.
