Amazing
Such a beautiful course in excellent condition as always.
Slow
Beautiful course...our tee time was 1 pm, but we could only play 16 holes before running out of day light. When we left there were 3 groups on the 17th tee. No matter how good a course is, it's no fun waiting to hit every shot.
Bad Experience
The round was a very poor customer experience. There are better courses and way better staff in Mesquite, so don't mess up your enjoyable golf trip by going to this place. Out of 7 rounds in Mesquite, this was the only bad experience. The staff (other than pro shop cashier and beverage cart) was extremely unwelcoming and made sure to let you know that you were treated as an outsider and their so-called "members" didn't want you there. Al other courses made you feel welcome and wanted you to enjoy your round. The Palmer course was average and the Canyons course appeared to be turning back into desert with firm brown almost dead grass and greens.
Our two groups are low to mid handicappers with good golf etiquette and professional management occupations and some members at much better private clubs, so disappointing to have grouchy staff act like you don't belong on their average course. If their retirement community members are providing enough cash flow, then they should either stop booking public tee times or replace the entire staff and bring in responsible leadership to change the culture.
Oasis for a camel, bring water lots
Played on a very hot day, there was cart person for after 3rd hole then their shift was over. Tee tee time was at 11am but teed off of at 1030am. No coolers permitted on this course but snuck a small water cooler on which saved us from passing out since no beverage cart. I guess they expect you to be like a camel or fill your golf bag with warm bottled. No water stations I could see anywhere. Course was fine, nice views very good condition, but lack of beverage cart stupid on a hot day. Hopefully their members treated better or they drink gallons of water before round.
Could be confusing
Locals were very friendly , joined a group ahead of me thankful cuz could of been lost traveling around on roads , will know now but glad they let me play with them will be trying the canyons next time
Must play
When in Mesquite u should definitely play the Oasis Plamer. Course was in outstanding shape, staff very friendly even though it was very windy we had a great day, definitely recommend and we will play again
Beautiful!
Thoroughly enjoyed our play. A little bit slow but we finally played a through the slow group ahead of us and all was good. The course was in great shape and absolutely beautiful! Lots of fun. Will play again
