Nice course,. Slow play.
Very nice course, but would not play during the week. They allow fivesomes of older men which slow play to the point of frustration. Other wise, a very nice public course.
Good Municipal Course
Lagoon Park is my favorite course in the Montgomery area in my price range. It's better maintained than the other courses in the area and the layout is interesting. It has more bunkers than average and an average amount of water. If you want to play in Montgomery, but not spend Robert Trent Jones money, this is the place.
Fl
Had nice discount from Golfnow. Really nice course greens in great shape staff very friendly and helpful
Greens!!
All great but the greens were so fast and shaved smooth it was difficult to get close on you first putt. Anything on a slope flew by the hole. If you can stay below the hole it is better. The tifdrawf grass was so smooth it was dangerously scary on many putts. Three putted several holes. Be careful and use the practice green before you go out.
Good Course
Excellent course condition. Greens very fast. Keep below the hole to have easier putts. Pace of play today excellent. Played 18 in 2 hours and 48 min. Only recommendation is to fix some of the uneven cart paths. Definitely recommend playing this course.
Tree Lined Fairways - Great Greens
This course was in excellent condition! The greens were so nice. Early November, so the extreme heat of summer was gone. Easier to keep the greens. The tee boxes favor a draw - many dog legs to the left. I do not hit a draw with a driver, thus the course was a bit more difficult for me. You do need to hit it straight off the tees - tree lined and somewhat tight for what I am used to.
The bunkers were well-kept as well. Just an excellent course. I WILL return.
Challenging course
Great conditions. Ground a little wet but overall great challenges for every golfer.
Lagoon Park
Good course when in Montgomery. The fairways are tight with plenty of woods to get caught in.
Course was sneaky tight........
The wide fairways are actually a lot tighter than they look because of the large southern hard wood trees that line the fairways with limbs reaching out into fairways. Course was in excellent condition which is what I have come to expect from Honors courses. Greens very slow but rolled true. Got their late but had no problem in getting our tee time moved back
Lagoon
Played on hot deal time! Greens were just arrayed butoverall nice course
Great
Awesome course and prostaff
Not a Tournament Course
I played this course for the first time in a tournament. Overall, the conditions were fine. However, the greens were bumpy, hairy, and untrue. They were very slow. The holes had not been changed in a while, and some were uneven and hairy. I usually play fast, well-maintained greens in tournaments, but these really threw me off. I don't hit "at" the ball when putting, but had to resort to slapping the ball to reach the hole. I would not play another tournament at this course.
