Nice layout and very good price.
The course has a nice layout. Very tight fairways and some interesting holes. Bunkers and more dirt then sand, but still better than a lot courses of north. Greens are a little slow but well maintained. Fairways had a lot of clumps of cut grass. Tee boxes can really use some work. Overall, the course is an excellent value and I would recommend the course for the right price.
Enjoyable Round
First time playing this course.
Course was a good layout and played pretty fair. Some hidden trouble but over all a course that can be enjoyed by people of all handicaps.
Staff was friendly enough.
Pace of play was good. Played in around 4 hours.
A couple few of the tee boxes could use some work. Had to tee off of mats on 2 of them.
Greens were in good shape for this time of year. Surprising, it seemed that there weren't many unrepaired ball marks.
Would recommend this course and would like to play it again.
Challenging course which allows you to use all of your clubs and skill. Grounds keepers have done a great job this season maintaining the greens and tee boxes.
NOT MEMBER FOR A DAY
This course will be closed soon. It is not being taken care of and if you are a member for a day. Why are you being charged $12 to use the range. I want go back.
Heck of a value
For the price this course is really nice!! There is a lot of water and trouble on this course if you’re not hitting it pure. I had one of my better ball striking days so I didn’t have to deal with all of the hazards, fortunately. The course also wasn’t very crowded, which was really nice. Very enjoyable!
Much Potential
Playing this course for the first time was challenging. My first take was that it was probably a nice course and charming at one time. The course has been neglected and some of the tee's were unplayable so they provided a driving mat. There were a lot of weeds and needs a whole lot of attention. The back nine in particular was narrow and very challenging, and very enjoyable. Nice course for the price, but not much more to report.
Bad Conditions - Do Not Recommend
Played this course for the first time. Horrible conditions. This course needs more love. Multiple tee boxes unplayable. A few holes you had to tee off a range mat! Go somewhere else
Rough condition
This course needs major renovation to return it to country club condition. Too overgrown with major work needed in almost all areas. The exception was the greens which were in decent shape and rolled true. Biggest issue with this course (which probably cannot be fixed) is the unenjoyable layout. Multiple blind tee shots which lead to hidden creeks and wildlife areas. No signage to warn you of those areas and it’s no fun to constantly have to put your driver in the bag anyway. I’m a 7 index and shot a 47 on the front nine after twice having excellent drives on par 4’s only to find that the ball had been driven into hidden hazards. Shame on me for not pulling up an app that would have revealed these areas, but still. My wife HATED this course. Too many creeks and wildflower areas that couldn’t be hit over. She lost tons of balls and I therefore would not recommend this course to women (red tee players) unless they can consistently hit the ball at least 150 yards in the air. I will say the staff, cart girl and greenskeepers were all cordial and nice. .
Tee boxes are pretty bad.
The tee boxes are pretty bad. Most are forward and not level.
Small community course, not a country club
This was the 2nd time playing this corse this year, mostly because it’s very close to my residence and normally not crowded. Greens and fairways were good. Tee boxes atrocious. Many tees were moved up into the rough area before the fairways started. Those were also messy (long grass, lumpy, muddy etc.). The course is ‘quirky’ due to the land available. It has tight, sloping fairways, a lot of doglegs and elevation changes, with blind shots around doglegs doe to thick trees and other vegetation. If you can’t hit it straight you’d better bring a lot of golf balls! Almost forgot - bunkers are bad (lots of hard packed dirt with rocks).
Not bad
Short little course 6,000yds from tips.
Tee boxes are being redone.
Tuesday play the had not mowed for the week yet.
Very tight on some holes but easy to hit less club and go for the 150 and in.
Greens very consistent about medium speed. Not huge undulations or breaks to any hole. 3 people got done in 3hrs.
Gotten better
The course was in excellent shape except for all of the temporary tees because so many of the tee boxes were in terrible shape. I will definitely play here again, but not until the tee boxes are improved.
Very tight course.
Very tight course. Really have to commit to the shot.
