Good layout/ conditions but pace and staff were not to standard
I generally enjoyed my round here and the course is very challenging and a good test for seasoned golfers. But the staff and course management was terrible. They let a “platinum member” jump into a 4 some and make a 5 some . This significantly slowed down the pace. Was also disappointed by the staff. The whole vibe was very un charming and just generally not peaceful like a golf course should be. I would NOT waste my time here personally
Public Course Trying to Fake Nice
Will probably never play here again. Pace is pretty mixed and no Marshall to usher things along. Player clientele is funky. Had some group behind us hit up on us in the fairway a couple time while we were waiting for the group in front, talks more to the people that play at Coyote. I fixed 5+ divots per green. True anger stems from the pro shop changing my cart mid course, nice btw, then proceeding to take my range finder from the pro shop and move it to the public lost and found at cart return and within 1 holes time of returning to grab it it was gone, of course. I love golf and want more courses but dont wish this one well.
Great golf course
Very nice golf course , beautiful view while challenging . Overall great price for value
Aerated greens with no notice . 5 hour round
Golf now should post aeration warnings on courses. Communication between the course itself and golf now should be done . I would have played elsewhere for sure if I knew . I prepaid with golf now and one tiny sign behind the counter in the pro shop . 5 hour round . We got yelled at by the Marshall to hurry up and we kindly told him we’ve been waiting on every single shot . Perhaps Marshall’s should drive backwards from 9 t o1 so they can see any gaps . Not fun
Fun Layout
We had a Great Day at Coyote creek on the tournament course. The greens were in fantastic shape, and the course was really fun to play. We can’t wait to go back and play it again thanks to all the staff members for being so accommodating.
Got Water
I was very disappointment with the way this course is managed, I payed $84.00 dollars for a weekday round and I experience the following:
The cart kept stopping because we got to close to the green, but the cart "this way signs" were not there, 150 yard pole was not there as well , the bunkers had little to no sand (hard pan), it was 95 degrees and the 5 gallons of ice water were no where to be found plus no ball washers, no beverage cart. I spoke with management and she was very receptive but all I got were excuses. The carts signs and 150 poles were removed because it is an inconvenience to the mowers to stop and remove signs for mowing, so the golfer suffer, nice customer service, as for the ball washers they were removed for COVID??? The water jugs our on back order, want happened to the jugs before COVID?? She asked me if we needed water to rehydrate, Too late for that. She also said thank you and we will bring up this up in our ne3xt staff meeting, I expected a discount or credit for my next round of golf bit I guess I will not be playing this course again, even if it is for free!!!!
Freeway noise through the play
It was over rate as good course on the reviews
Over priced for the location of course
I was expecting very quite and serene environment but the course was mostly parallel to hwy 101 and and noised many oh the holes
GOT WATER
95 degrees out and no water to be found. Talked to management. Seemed unaware of this. Asked why no 5 gallon jugs. Said it was shipping backlog. Found 23 in stock on HD website. No marshall or beverage cart. Cart would stop because you where in restrictive are. Had to back out, if you could jiggle the key for reverse. Cart would tell you your 5 minutes behind and pick up play or marshall would move you. Thats a joke. Ive played on $24 courses that had all the basics
Save your money and play somewhere else
One of our best round!
We had a foursome t hi at we booked online.
We played on 3.5 hours, course was in great shape and weather perfect . All of this at a very discounted price.
Best round of the year!
The members have poor golf etiquette. I played as a single and the twosome in front of me would not let me join them or play through. The twosome would practice on the putting green after they already holed out. Poor member etiquette has been an issue in previous rounds as well. Needless to say, I will seek out other courses in the area to play.
Dream course
Has to rank as one of my favourite courses in the bay, alongside Harding Park and HMB. Can’t believe I paid so much more for Wente just a week ago, for some reason I prefer Coyote Creek
